Do Braxton Hicks contractions hurt your stomach like gas pains and squeeze your tummy tight and cause a crampy feeling in your vagina? Or are bh painless?
I'm a ftm so I'm wondering if these are either Braxton Hicks contractions, round ligament pain, or gas pains? If it is one of those, which one is it most likely? But if it's not one of those, what else could it be? Thanks!
Is anyone having Braxton Hicks contractions? This is my first baby and I'm not sure what they exactly feel like. All I know is I hurt! Anyone else having these pains?
I'm 28 weeks & I feel like I've been having braxton hicks contractions.. am I supposed to be having them this early?! Kinda nervous, this my first baby & for some odd reason I strongly believe that I'm further alone then what my doctors tell me. I was looking around in this app & it said your supposed to start having them around 32weeks.. what you think? Just a thought......
I am 23 weeks pregnant an i have had about 15 pains in the last 24 hours where my belly tightens up and it hurts for about 30 seconds. Do ypu think these are braxton hicks or something else?
Are braxton-hicks contractions supposed to be painful at all? I'm 28 weeks pregnant, and I've been told they just feel like a tightening in your abdomen. is that right? If that's what I'm having, should I just be having them throughout the day? or is that too often?
I am 22 weeks pregnant. I've read about Braxton Hicks Contractions. They are supposed to be a painless tightnening in your stomach. Well did anyone ever have a buldging in your stomach that didn't so much hurt but was a lot of pressure? I never really asked my doctor about it and it doesn't really concern me because my first baby did it and she is healthy (besides being 3 1/2 weeks early). Maybe it's my baby stretching out and that is making my stomach buldge.
So Im almost 25 weeks and I think I may be having braxton hicks contractions. I was just wondering what they feel like and if you can get them this early and if I should worry about it. They are mild pregnancy cramps and they are really irregular but closer together. Im just nervous that its the real deal and Im missing the signs of preterm labor. Ive been having them for about 2 days now.
i was wondering if anyone is having braxton hicks contractions yet?? and how early did you feel them? i am 24 weeks and i noticed the first one at like 22 weeks. they say they usually start around 6 months but can be earlier. the first one i remember feeling, i thought the baby was all balled up in the middle of my abdomen and it was very hard. i even had my husband feel it. then it just flattened out all of the sudden.
IS anyone feeling braxton hicks contractions yet? This is my 3rd pregnancy but I can't remember when I started to feel them with my other two. Is this early? I'm know I shouldn't feel more than 4 per hour without calling someone so I guess maybe I should start timing. THanks for any info or advice.

Braxton hicks are not early contractions. Very very different from pre term / early labor. Totally normal, lots of ppl get them.
Braxton hicks shouldn't hurt a lil uncomfortable and you can feel your stomach getting tight but that's about it.
Braxton Hicks can some times hurt. They just wont hurt as much as real contractions do.
for myself to differentiate between contractions and braxton hicks i time them..
Every book I read says that Braxton Hicks do not hurt. Well I think they do. They aren't like actual labor, but they are painful to me. Why do they say they don't hurt? Also I am 31wks pregnant and at my sono I had Monday the baby was already head down facing backwards. Is that normal for him to be in position already?
Do or can Braxton Hicks hurt? I get a few pains in my stomachs here and there throughout the day. They last about 30 sec. I'm 36 weeks.
What do braxton hicks fell like ? . . I'm 36+4 and dont think ive ever felt it :/ do some people not get them at all or does this mean ill be overdue? Lol im clueless. I feel fine like i'm not even pregnant!
I will be 36 weeks in a couple days and people keep wondering if I've felt any Braxton hicks contractions. I guess they are pretty common around this time. What do they feel like? I hear they are painful for some women but do they HAVE to be painful? Every now and then I feel my stomach suddenly get tight and it feels very hard all over. I thought that was the baby stratching out, but in that case I would probably feel actual hands and feet popping out. I don't know. Could these be BH?
I have never gotten this now Braxton hicks do not hurt its simply just a tightening of the muscles in your stomach area (false contractions preparing your body for birth) I did not began to experience mine till 7 months abd they are painless please whatever you do drink plenty of water and stay off your feet and make sure you mention this to your dr asap to be sure :) good luck Hun
BH to me don't hurt they just tighten.. Contractions feel like worse period cramps and I also had really bad backpain. If the tightening is time able..
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the symptoms of braxton hicks? Some times I have to stop what im doing because I get this very strong tightening across my stomach ? I am 30 weeks ..
Is braxton hicks the contractions that make your stomach tighten and become hard?
It felt like period cramps, only not as intense as mine get, (mine were REALLY bad) But I thought Braxton Hicks contractions weren't supposed to be painful? I don't know what I'm feeling. Also, I think that sometimes when the baby moves around it feels like cramping, he is really really low in my pelvis. For others to be able to feel him kick, they have to pretty much touch my pubic bone.
I've been having braxton hicks since 17 weeks and my OB told me they are not supposed to hurt. They're uncomfortable, yes. But not painful. But if they girt you should call your doctor and see what they say.
