and my daughter has been diagnosed with diabetes couple of months ago and put on metformin since then, after reading the page above, it made me wondering should my daughter continues taking it.

Anyone out there with Type 1 diabetes taking Tecfidera? I have heard from a couple of people that it causes your blood sugar to go low. I'd like to know how low, and esp. if you're using an insulin pump, how much you've had to adjust it. Also when it goes low. I'll be starting Tecfidera on September 1.
i dont take medicine no diabetes.. is that health issue or normal ? By the way i heavely alcohol drinker about half litr whiskey/day..

I second Against All Grain. She has a blog as well that you can Google for and she's got tons of recipes on there. Something I did around the thirty- five week mark was the Twenty - one Day Sugar Detox. You should Google that as well. It's tough but it's a great Jumpstart to good diet and there are modifications for pregnant women. I have had way less of a love affair with sugar after doing that!
I'm 17 weeks and will be having an ultrasound done on Thursday to determine my baby's gender. It's a bittersweet experience for me bc my unborn child's father left. We had planned the baby for months. When I thought that I wasn't able to conceive, he went to my OBGYN appointments to support me. After trying for 6 months, I found out that I was pregnant. He left when I was 2 months. Now that I don't haveshoplifting, I feel alone and betrayed.
my almost 16yr old daughter has had diabetes since age 9. over the last 3 months she has restricted her diet, over exercised and omitting a large proportion of her insulin. as she was not at all overweight to start with she is now unhealthy low bmi. she has been referred to an eating disorders unit were she is currently being assessed. the majority of her weight loss has been achieved by not giving her insulin. her last hba1c was 13.
Do any of you believe our unborn children, during pregnancy, live in Heaven with our deceased family members until time for them to come be with us? I just had the most bittersweet dream of my little boy playing in a field with my grandfather, who passed almost two years ago. I was watching through a window and they both looked over at me and waved and my grandpa had the biggest smile and my son was running around smiling and playing with butterflies.
About a month ago I started having slight blurred vision out of the corner of my right eye. That eye also started getting a lot dryer than my left eye and I have felt some pressure by my eye. I saw an optomitrist, a neuro-opthamologist and had an MRI and nothing showed up. I don't have diabetes. I do have thyroid and hormone imbalances, but I've had those problems for years and this only started last month. What else could be causing it?
