My Dr at Kaiser said that the OTC and the ones they prescribe are the same. I didn't argue with her since she has the degree and just bough some from the pharmacy. When ever your next visit is with your OB check with her/him.

, there could be a serious reason why this is happening, i dont mean to scare you, it could be that you are constipated and pushing to much, but if the bowl is filled up, i would call your doctor right away, and this way, they can rule out different causes and hopefully get to the problem, i wouldnt take anything over the counter until i was seen by a doctor, good luck, let us know how you make out.

yes yes, I am clean from Vicoden, Antidepresants but still am using a sleep aid, have been using over the counter meds for sleep since the 80's then went to prescription sleep aid and now I only sleep 3 or 4 hours using them. I am going to go off them soon. My Dr would like to see me wait until Jan just because I came off two meds this year and had surgery's but please don't go to prescription sleep aids I think it is harder to get off them than OCT.

Do you have the range for your FT4? Ranges are lab specific so have to come from your own lab report. Did your doctor test FT3 as well? What were you taking prior to the 50 mcg Cytomel and 50 mcg Synthroid? When he d/c'd the Cytomel, did he change your Synthroid as well? Sorry to ask so many questions, but need to know.

I was taking 100mcg synthroid. The doc I was seeing doesn't know that much about thyroid issues. I probably only needed my synthroid increased, but he gave me the cytomel instead. I've tried Nexium before and it gave me bad side effects. I'd rather solve the problem than take more drugs to cover up the symptoms if that makes sense.

She has a history of bleeding ulcers, she smokes about 2 packs of cigarettes a week, high blood pressure, and other ailments of old age. I didn't realize that she was taking so much of this medicine.

The Vet offered a perscription, but I would like to try something over the counter first. Can I give him aspirin or would it hurt me? Any advise would be appreciated.
