Wanting to help her feel better I got her the Clinique Acne Solutions 3 step process. She used it for 2 days and now it appears that her face in burned...some spots worse than others. How do we treat this? I made an appt with a dermatologist but we can't get in for a month. HELP!
Hi everyone, my name is pete and I am on a quest to ride my acne and redness around my neck. I have had serve acne and had 3 courses of accutane pills but the acne worsened. Whats up with that? I taught this was called the golden pill? Is there anyone out there that can consider another option besides this? People, help... Please.
have been on roaccutane for 3 weeks now, I tablet a day, from by derm, cos apparently i have perorial dermititus, after 2 months on doxy and 3 months on minocyline, and my rash (on each side of my mouth) are getting bigger. should i go back on minocycline. And if so, can i take minocycline straight away after stopping roaccutane.
the stretch marks make sense, but the scars and acne collect questions. And, yes, the ones underneath tend to scar a little purple, probably again because they get no light. There's no hormonal fluctuation, and never has been; it's consistent all the time. I'm on depo-provera now, but even before then it was the same.
There are lots of things you can do to help your acne clear up. Clarins, Clinique and Estee Lauder all make good ranges for blemish prone skin, as spots are affecting more and more women in their 20s and 30s. Estee Lauder's Maximum coverage foundation is great for covering all imperfections for special occasions. Your doctor can prescribe you an anti-androgen contraceptive pill such as Yasmin or Dianette (Diane35 in the USA) which will provide birth control and clear up acne.
However you should get it done from a good cosmetologist and discuss all the pros and cons before heading for it. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
La Roche-Posay make a great range called Rosaliac. Eucerin make a Redness Relief range and Clinique have recently developed a Redness Solutions range. Avoid too much alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, hot foods and drinks and hot climates. If a diagnosis of rosacea is confirmed by your doctor, you may be prescribed oral oxytetracycline or topical metronidozole. You may also wish to speak to your doctor about counselling or medication for anxiety.
Strange I know. But, I used the procative and acne free(19.99 kit at walmart) and both work just as good. And way cheaper and acne free is easier to get.Dr said both are fine If I needed to use.
I was mortified and i washed my face in my regular clinique cleaner and used my regular clinique moisterizer and took an allergy pill. My face is still the same today, my eyes are puffy and im actually in so much discomfort, my face is sore and looks burnt.. please help im scared it wont go, iv always sufferd with my skin, i had acne when i was 15 im now 20 & i went through alot to get rid of it & im now so scared this is gonna ruin my skin.
I'm using the clinique acne solutions line (except for the wash - I use a neutrogena wash) and it has definitely helped but I'm kind of feeling like I usually do - like I've gotten to a standstill. It worked for a while but I've kind of reached a stopping point. I do need to give the birth control a chance to kick in and hopefully make a difference! Right now, I'm taking biotin (which I have taken for a while now, don't think it makes a huge difference) as well as fish oil.
( So Clinique is ok as long as I dont reapply more than once or twice and make sure to clean my lips very well after the evening and applying cream after. The cream I mostly use to prevent dry lips is Locobase but it does contain petrolatum and since this is the only cream I can use I am ok with that. However, I recently started to try to use eye cream directly on my lips before I go to bed and so far it is working wonders for me.
It has now come back even worse then before, and spread down to my cheeks, it's almost like prickly heat in a way with the itching and redness, Whats worrying me the most is the deep wrinkles under my eyes that this is causing and i haven't even used any creams (apart from E45) I'm only 24 and my eyes look 20 years older. I have never had this untill this year, i just don't know whats causing it, Doctor / Pharmasist have been useless. Someone please help!
I have read dairy can be the source of sinus and ear infections caused by swelling and making mucus. My throat used to feel slimy after a glass of milk. My husband used to be depended on perscription strength omeprozol(?) 2x a day, and no longer needs them coincidently after going dairy free. It might be worth a try for those of you desperate enough. I'd say give it a weeks try. (We have to read ALL ingredients because my son) but soy is a DANGEROUS alternative, I must add.
I have a similar prob as well. My right eyelid gets itchy at night (weird), right in the area of my lashes. I scratch and by morning its huge and red, sometimes painful. My left eye is very different. It is not as sensitive. Gets itchy higher, not as much or as often and never swells. After the "itch, scratch and swelling episode" the swelling goes away and I am left with VERY dry skin. I apply lotions at night and after a day or two, I am left with wrinkles!
1) Putting a special cover over my pillow (a zippered one that goes over the pillow before you put the pillowcase on) and washing it and the pillowcase frequently has helped. 2) Warm compresses 3) A touch of Cetaphil to the dry corner of the eye. Good luck; I am awaiting any more news from all of you.
I used carmax before the symtops and this isnt the first time ive had this. I had these tiny lip colored bumps about a year ago. The funny thing is I just got them again after repeatedly using the same carmax lip balm that I was using then. I think it really is the carmax. Anyway, it is really irritating and last time I made sure to keep it dry with some rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and they went away after a few days. No more than two weeks before they were gone.
It sounds a lot worse than it really is, when it ruptures it just speads out and flattens so that it's not a huge bulging bump like it was before it ruptured. It can be caused by an ingrown hair, a clogged gland, or bacteria that gets into the skin after shaving with a razor. She told me to put a warm washcloth on it once or twice a day and it should go away in a couple of weeks. The soreness and swelling has already subsided, now it just looks like a flattened red lump.
I have expeinced them before when I lived in cali and I have now moved back after 14 years and I have only experienced it one other time--from the person who moved from az to ou home in ga. when I loved here before my friend experienced it too and we would shower and change and it would go away until this one friend of ours would come over and it would start again. this time I picked them up at adult school and I have showered many times and they are not going away.
