citalopram overdose amount

I was diagnosed with OCD when I was 9. I have been on Prozac, Paxil, Lexapro and now Citalopram for 16 years. At this point the citalopram doesn't seem to be working anymore. I have increased my dosage to 80mg a day and have added xanax about .5 mg 2 to 3 times a day about 1 month ago. I am very depressed and I'm worried about forgetting things. I'm worried about getting alheizmers disease. I need to go to see a neurologist and have some tests done.

what is considered to be a dangerous amount of hydro to take? i currently am struggling with 12ish a day of norco 10/325. but i have taken as many as 21 in day. is there a danger of dying from that amount? or do some folks take way more than that and still be fine? i really have not considered that i might be taking enough to hurt myself in an overdose situation. if this is a stupid question i apologize, im just trying to be smart and more careful.

Hi I found Citalopram a very disturbing drug, as soon as I took it I felt like I had been drugged with somethimg, I heard noises and felt very paranoid. I was ok with zoloft though apart from some agitation. Citalopram is meant to be very good for anxiety and depression but I didn't like it all and my doctor didn't like me on it either.

when we are off these drugs for a week or longer, and our bodies have already detoxed and begun functioning without it, the possiblity of having an overdose is very high. An overdose from vicodin feels like your throat is closing, your heart beats really fast and it is hard to breath. It is the worst feeling in the world. My experience was light compared to what i heard could have happened from opiate overdose. People end up in comas and can die.

Due to his illness I want to make sure that when I count his pills that he will not take to much. I would like to know if anyone knows what the fatal amount of 10mg Oxycontin would be fatal. Thank you for your help.

All I can tell you is a gram and a half could very easily be an overdose amount. If you had taken that amount any other way besides snorting - you wouldn't be able to get on the computer right now... If you have any respiratory or heart problems though - get medical help and be on the safe side. If you aren't going to get medical help, the best thing you can do is get as comfortable as possible and try to relax yourself.

Can someone give me either the symptoms or the timeline for an Ibuprofen overdose? And what's going to happen if I don't get treatment? I've taken approx. 40 200mg ibuprofen tablets, 32 hours ago.

I have never, persoanlly, taken citalopram, but there are plenty of folks here who have and hopefully they will respond with their experiences with this med. Most of us with an anxiety/panic disorder are "wary" of side effects. But bear in mind that we are all different and your son may not experience any, or if he does, he may find that they are bearable.

I'm taking Citalopram 30mg.I recently read online that you should not exercise straight after taking the tablet as if you do so your body will burn in off as energy and thus the medication will not be effective. I hate taking medicines which only seems to make my anxiety worse. I am already on 10 mg of citalopram a day for my depression and take it every night. So when I had an attack earlier today took half of the lorazepam (.25) instead of the full dose being the weirdo that I am. That was four and a half hours ago. Knowing my doctor knows I am on both of these medications I forced myself to take my citalopram now before bed.

t seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place. So my question is when would symptoms begin to show and when would death occur. I don't need exact times but if toxicity showed hours after an over dose and death came days after it would give me a timeline which is all I'm looking for. Thank you.

All I know is that benzoylegonine is a metabolite for cocaine and I am not sure of the amount it takes to overdose on this drug, but I have a few times and I was not shooting it. I took a series of ibuprofen and paracetamol overdoses about 8 months ago, whereby I tool a large amount of pills. During the course of several weeks, I took about 10-15 grams of ibuprofen and some additional Paracetamol each time. I cannot remember how much Paracetamol I took.
