Hav a realy bad flu pains everywhere. Chest is in bits and realy bad head cold.

What it feels like is the chronic post nasal drip I have has caused congestion in my upper chest. However, the weird part is, I really have no cough, and the occasional cough has never brought anything up. In the past, if my chest begins to feel this way, it is followed by the painful cough and coughing stuff up. I would not call what I have sometimes as pain, it feels more like irritation. When I am active, as well as when I drink a lot of water, it seems to be much better.

For about a year now I have had a cough and chest congestion, my doctor has switched my asthma medications several times thinking that might be the reason for my cough and congestion, she's tried many different types of allery medications, I have been to the pulmonologist, had a chest x-ray and nothing was found, but the cough and congestion I still have.

I have severe chest congestion. This has been going on for about 3 months. It's strange because I will have constant congestion and cough one day and the next day I will be almost clear. I know that if I have congestion one day the next day I will not. I plan my days accordingly. My dr. has put me on antiboitics and presidone twice in the last 3 months, I've had a chest x-ray last week, shows nothing. I have had allergies all my life.

I have this tightness in my chest i kno its mucus but i dont have a cough or cold it hurts when i try to take a deep breath ive never had chest congestion before im not coughing up blood or anything like that. ive been using my asthma pump because when i was younger i had trouble with asthma it helps clearing my airways so i can breath easier but it comes back after awhile. Help?

My question is the the last 3 months as I am laying down for a while I get a gurggle feeling in my chest and it almost feels like congestion so I make a cough to see if that would help and I have no congestion at all and the cough doesnt help. When I stand for a minute is when it will go away. Can you please tell me what this means or if I should go get a 2nd opinion??? Heart related issues runs on my mother side of the family and just about everyone has an issue.

it has been managed, however I now have a respiratory flu going on..with lots of chest congestion, the last 5 days I have been extremely short of breath. When I blow my nose blood comes out this has been going on for 2 weeks or so. I went to the ER because I was having chest pains, dizziness and shortness of breath. They couldn't tell me what it was. It is still very hard to breath through my nose. They x-rayed my chest and said it looked fine...Would brain bleeding cause these symptoms...what should I do please help...i'm only 25.

i have a dry Dry throat and unable to sleep properly even after taking sleeping pill and also having gray Phlegm and sometime chest congestion. My respiratory doc say that the Phlegm and chest congestion is due to PEG so i have being prescribe foracort 400 and montair lc for 15 days. My Hepatology doc ask me to do Vit D test. however, in my case, it was due to chest congestion such as a cold, bronchitis, pneumonia, allergy, etc. After a complete and full recovery the tickley/itchy feeling would eventually deminish over a little time. I been having coughing, chest congestion, nasal congestion and coughing up nasty stuff (mucus) ewww. What can I take or what can I do to fight this bug? Because I feel hopeless.

Plus, I wake up in the morning and my chest is congested. Sometimes when I first get up, it hurts to take a deep breath, as if it would hurt when you inhale water. However, once I stand up and cough once or twice, it goes away for the entire day and I forget about it. I realize incubation periods differ but for some reason I keep reading about herpes symptoms. Today in dead of summer, I have a bad head cold ( runny nose, cough , congestion etc) and I keep reading about flu symptoms). I can't help but feel like I may have contracted something. I have no evidence of sores or anything but I keep reading about the initial synptoms of an outbreak and freak myself out.

For last 1 1/2 weeks my chest has a pain in the center. Notice in the morning after laying down and when I swallow I feel pain.
