t think it is jock itch because from what I have read jock itch should have a define outer edge and doesn't normally spread to the scrotum. I was daily and have use powders to ensure it stays dry. What could this be? I don't have any allergies that I know of and haven't done anything different that I usually do. In the 27 years I been alive I never have had a rash, athletes foot, or anything like that before.
IMaybe it's just a little yeast growth, which is all "jock itch" is. You could get a tube of jock itch cream and try it. Follow directions.
I have been taking the generic benedryl and trying to using a jock itch spray and cream what I believe may be jock itch, but I am not sure, because nothing seems to be making anything better. I am not sexually active but sometimes I have bowel irregularities like going every other day or having drier or wetter stools than what would probably would be normal. since around last summer i developed almost a rash ony myt scrotum, when my groin is cool and dry it doesnt bother me, but when i start to sweat my scrotum starts to get sensitive to my underwear and it starts to get red and itchy, ive used store bought jock itch spray and it works untill i run out. also i have little white bumps on my scrotum where my hair folicals are. any answers on these things would be helpful.

I realize about a day later I reoccurred Jock itch. I am not sure if I occured Jock Itch prior to sexual intercourse. Though it is called jock itch, it may not itch always. Usually a reddish rash or area of darkened or tanned skin appears on penis/scrotum/groin fold/adjacent thighs. This is often accompanied by a burning or tingling sensation.
Also the diagnosis of jock itch appears to be correct since the sensation responded to application of an antifungal and the rash has dried up and is becoming scaly. The treatment may take about 4-5 weeks to produce complete results.

I've been having on and off itch problem in my scrutum. I tried most jock itch over the counter medication but they only provide temporary relief. I noticed that when I sweat in my groin area, the itch worsens. The itch is so discomforting. I tried scabies treatment also, but no effect. Natural Tea Tree oil don't seem to cure it. Please help.

can jock itch move to your penis? i have had it for months now and can only keep it under control w powder, not get rid of it. when i have sex w/my girlfriend, afterwards my penis gets red, raw and gets little cracking in the skin right under the head of my penis, some small amount of itching. has the jock itch moved to my penis or is this something else? i might add there are no sores or anything like that. it seems to heal and only get raw after sex.
