Male, late 30s. In summer 2009, just getting checked by a derm to "be thorough" is when the warts were first found. Biopsy performed, maybe 3 tiny warts removed, low risk confirmed. No big deal.
Approximately every 4-8 months since then I have gotten 1-2 new ones. Always really small. Always in a similar spot (near base, somewhat on scrotum). If I don't go in, they don't seem to grow or multiply - but they don't go away on their own either.
I treat with zinc, which keeps my copper levels low (but zinc causes nausea - but its better than the consequnces).
At any rate, Wilson's is a treatable and manageable condition. IF detected early enough and if the variant is a slow progressing one, then your Sis could go on to live a full healthy life with med management. - So, I guess what im saying is that in some circumstances, Wilsons isnt the worst you could ask for.....
I cannot get pregnat because my husband lacks apropriate number of sperm count. I googled and found out that FERTIL AID and ZINC SULPHATE is a solution of increasing sperm count. Please answer my question in your earliest convenience.
Shall i use this medication or not? Also, if you know anyother medication that is effective for the increase of sperm please let me know.

Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics.You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash.
If the symptoms persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

Ammonia and zinc levels are measured from blood samples. They must be asked for. They are not common blood test that are performed routinely. Ammonia is listed as Ammonia on my blood tests. The normal range is 7-35 UMOL/L. Since you have some blood work you may want to look at his Platelet count, INR, Bilirubin, and Creatinine. This can help give you an idea of your husband's liver ability to function.
NOTE: Ammonia levels don't always correlate with HE. Or the Grade of HE.
I swear by zinc lozenges on the first onset of a sore throat. I'm only 5 Weeks pregnant and wouldn't you know it, I have the start of a sore throat. anyone know if it's ok to take the lozenges? I know, I know, I need to ask my OB but I don't even have one in place yet since I'm so early on.

For me my patm start when I was around 15 Going through puberty, I had been on anti depressions at the time. Hi I'm 33 weeks pregnant. I have been using aussie high volume shampoo from years.even during pregnancy. Today I got to know from one of my friends that these 2 products(sodium lauryl and lauryth sulphate) may cause birth defects. I'm scared now. Is anyone using this shampoo and had healthy baby?
I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I work in a paint department. I mix colors and clean up paint pretty much. Since I've worked there we have always used glass cleaner to clean the paint off the desk and our hands. I didnt know this until today but the cleaner we use has ammonia in it. I've been using it every day for a few months to get the paint off of my hands. Could it have hurt my baby?
We discovered that my husband had an episode of Encephalopathy, which is high ammonia in the blood.
But by the time we had his blood checked his levels were right smack in the middle of the range. Doctor said he was fine. So my question is can this ammonia gone untreated continue to rise and lower on its own. Because he has days that he seems fine and then days when he is not with me completely. He does not eat much as his taste buds are totally out of wack. Most foods taste very salty.
I recently found out I had high ammonia, it was 66, I am taking lactalose and it is is now normal. All my blood work is within normal ranges on my liver function test and I also had a sonogram, have a mild fatty liver. Was wondering what could have caused this. I do drink a few beers a night.
