No easy answer here. First I assume you mean Adderall XR? Let me know if you don't because the next sentence is about XR. Most Charts list 50mgs as the maximum dose. And weight really has less to do with the dosage then one would think.

Try Adderall XR...it's an extended-release capsule. Regular Adderall is an immediate-release tablet, which wears off after maybe 5 hours, i'd say. But Adderall XR should do the trick...
Every dose of psychostimulant medication stands by itself - that is, it is entirely metabolized before the next day's dose. So essentially there is nothing to withdraw from, and in that sense you don't have to worry. As you've seen with Adderall XR, reducing the dose by dividing the contents of the capsule is an inexact procedure because you aren't able to control the balance of the immediate-release vs extended-release beads.
But also note when it is happening. Are you on an extended release Adderall or the IR? Because an XR will release an amount several times during the day which you might be responding to. But, I would look at other factors first. How long does the dizzy effect last? What are you doing just before it happens?
I am currently taking 225 mg of wellbutrin and 90 mg of Adderall xr. I have built tolerance I believe to the Adderall and it stopped working at that dose. I have tried several psychiatrists to help me address this issue to no avail. I have tried other medications for add but this one is the one that my body adjusts to better. Unfortunately, as you know this dose is high , and I haven't had any luck getting a doctor who could increase a bit or give me another solution.
Maybe you could try the 20 milligrams of the immediate release instead of the XR twice a day or even a lower dose. You maybe sensitive to the high of a dose. The following is all just my opinion. Everyone reacts to medicine differently:
Concerta is an extended release form of Ritalin. Which is what I took when I was a kid. It is still a stimulant but it is much milder than Adderall. I think more doctors should start patients Concerta because it has fewer side effects than Adderall.
my son is 7 years old and has adhd,after years of doing all the things we were told to do-behavior tech-counslers,theripy etc.my son have now been put on adderall 10 xr ,that had no effect so the doc said up it a little bit so now he is taking 20mgs a day xr-still no difference in his behavior.do we up the meds again.
Vyvanse should last close to 10+ hours. If it does not, its an underdose. Adderall IR lasts 4 to 6 hours and XR 8 to 10 hours.
The big question is when is the misbehaving happening? This would give you an idea of (if it is an overdose) when to adjust the medication.
Also keep in mind that lack of sleep can really effect a child. Also, just school pressure can do the same.
I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.
Plus it's 20mg XR(extended Release). So I am only getting 10mg at a time "technically".
A friend of mine is prescribed to Adderall 20mg XR, as am I. After a few weeks she felt as if the drug was not working. She opened one of her capsules and found that it looked as if it was sugar inside, as well as tasted like sugar. She did so for 5 capsules and they all contained the same sugar-like substance. It looked completely different from the medicine which a few of her other adderall 20 mg XR capsules in her prescription consisted of.
Also the Dose of V should be 30mg compared to 10mgs of adderall XR to be somewhat equal.
Though maintaining well above average grades, before my senior year of high school I was prescribed a daily dose of Adderall Extended Release (XR) and Adderall Instant Release (IR). From an early age I was identified as gifted, but I sought the prescription because concentration was getting in the way of performance as classes became more involved and I felt as though I suffered certain social problems associated with ADHD.
I took a break for about 6 months, and now, going back to school I have started back up on Adderall 20 mg XR capsule. I see more side effects with this med than I ever did with the IR- Headaches, "lump in throat" 5 hrs in, severe appitite suppresion, and nausea to the point that I have to lay down for up to 2 hours.
