can it be done with out anesthesia, and what are some herbs and natural remedies to clear the infected area after the tooth is romoved?
A) They probably don't know about it, any more than they know what the full effects of the medications they prescribe, and B) Even if they know about the natural treatment, there's no possibility that they can get a financial kickback if you buy the natural treatment. Case in point, fresh raw garlic is a fabulous antibiotic. It stings at first, and it stinks, but it works amazingly well...

Most of the crown of these teeth (and the extracted ones) was all amalgam filling and the remaining natural tooth was cracked. Two of the RCT teeth were crowned (they abscessed) and the other two I decided to have extracted because I just couldn't stand the pain any more. Fortunately my front 16 teeth are all perfect. My dentist even sent me to see a facial surgeon (sorry I can't remember the proper title) at our hospital to see if I had any other underlying problem but I hadn't.

I had a tooth with a large filling it. A large portion of the tooth chipped off. As expected, I needed a crown. So the doctor drilled the tooth away and say there was a cavity underneath the filling, and so he said he had to go very close to the nerve. I have no sensitivity to hot/cold, but I can "feel" the tooth biting down on it. Not sure if that makes sense. It doesn't necessarily hurt, I just feel pressure on that tooth/temporary crown much more.
is it best to get a abcessed tooth out bleeds alot 26 weeks prego dentist gave me option to try n sav it or extract it but he said the tooth looks done an i have to make a decision quick i would like to sav it but dont think it can be done im sick of it gushing blood wen i bearly touch it brushing my teeth.
I know that about12 years ago it worked on another tooth that was hurting and I still have that tooth and without needing a root canal. Thank you!
If the pulp cavity is exposed and bleeding occurs, this pulp exposure can lead to infection within the tooth and subsequent abscess formation. Small fractures can extend deeper into the root which can destroy the area of tooth formation. Ideally trimming should be performed in a lightly sedated or anaesthetized animal where the pre-molar and molar teeth can be examined at the same time. Spurs (sharp knife like edges) of the check teeth can also be filed at this time.
My first thought when looking at this was that it is perhaps a tooth abscess. Has he had his teeth checked recently? On the other hand, it could also be a cyst. If, when you gently feel it, does it feel attached somehow, or does it lift up with the skin? If it lifts up it sounds very much like a cyst. Does it appear to cause him any discomfort or do you see him shaking his head sometimes? It has a very rounded appearance, and that is quite cyst-like.
I had extractions and implants (and an infected abscess) in June on the upper right side of my mouth. It was necessary to remove an old bridge. I am about to start the process of getting a new bridge completed. Before I do that I want to be sure that the cause of the bad taste isn't going to be 'sealed in.'- Post-surgery it was thought that heavy doses of antibiotics - to treat the abscess -- were the cause. But it's been six months since I stopped the antibiotics.
You know I have had a blister above a tooth that wouldn't go away. It was an abscess tooth I didn't no I had. It didn't even hurt. Its just a thought. One blister that doesn't go away is weird.
I had the crown done 2 weeks ago (permanent one office visit) and have had problems ever since, jaw pain, tooth sensitivity, after 5 adjustments, this is ridiculous. Ive used all my insurance money on the stupid crown and if my dentist is going to recommend a root canal and anther crown I am going to lose it. What happens if they just pull the tooth? You can't see it, its in the back. Do you have to have a crown or bridge?

Sensitization of central nervous system refers to a condition that brain processes input signal differently after peripheral tissue injury.Root canal treatment is a procedure that denervates tooth pulp tissue(nerve). It's reported that endodontically treated tooth may occasionally develop hypersensitive response to non-injurious stimulus such as light touch, thermal stimulous. After amoxicillin and endo retreating tooth, it felt better and fever gone, but 2 days after ending antibiotics, infection returned with intensity, spread along jawline into nearby tooth, causing that tooth to then also need a root canal. I was put back on the same dose of amoxicillin, then tried clindamycin for a few days, but infection continued to spread - a large red hot lump (tablespoon sized) formed on my jawline, just under the 2 affected teeth.
however,i do recall A METALLIC taste about 4 weeks before the cleaning,i don't know if that could of been the start,so,i guess if you can answer this for me it would help me to understand, How long can a tooth be infected before it gets an abscess or becomes swollen? also ,what do you feel about my educated guess? and if i did inflame or irritate a nerve how long to get that back to normal?
True, I was eating mc donalds and ended up chewing further back by my wisdom tooth that was sore and aggravated. I notice the pain from my wisdom tooth from chewing 5 minutes after I experiecend severe vertigo and began thowing up and serious dizzy spells, it is a very weird and uncomfortable feeling almost like I was poisioned or dying. I had upper abdomin pains, extremely nauseated, severe dizziness, vomotting, fever flashes/ sweating of and on and chills.
Lady Jay: Thank you so much for your response. I see a neurologist next month (or sooner, If she has a cancellation) and will try to get a more definite diagnosis then. I think I may have had a tooth needlessly pulled in January because of shooting pain that I thought indicated an abscess. My dentist pulled the tooth, but said he thought "there must have been a nerve exposed" to cause so much pain because he couldn't see much indication of abscess.
I am going to cover everything I can think of to help you. So please forgive me if some of what I say is basic. I don't know enough about you to do otherwise. First of all, you need to visit a doctor or a clinic or a hospital. This may be a medical problem that can be treated. Secondly, you might have a physical disorder that causes you to smell bad, and in the U.S.

Am I possibly going from the frying pan into the fire moving towards methotrexate as a treatment? I know everyone responds differently to these medications and that everyone's experience with this illness is also different, but I was wondering how women are doing with this other medicine. My husband and I are very concerned about the steroids and have made the decision that we will not return to them once I have finished decreasing this round.
She had been struggling with seizures for a year and a half before she suddenly developed a tooth root abscess and was unable to heal from. Sadly, it forced me to put her to sleep w/ in a week. Her teeth didn't seem so bad, though I wanted to have them cleaned last year to be on top of her oral care. However, because of her seizures, my vet didn't want to put her through dental surgery/ anesthesia; this was a mistake. She should have referred me to an animal hospital where they can resuscitate.
One of the causes of maxillary sinusitis is a tooth abscess that has leaked the infection into the maxillary sinus. The teeth may be X-rayed to find this. • Ethmoid sinuses. If infection occurs, you may get puffy eyes and pain between them. The sides of your nose may get tender to the touch, your nose may get stuffy, and you won’t be able to smell so well. You may also get a splitting headache, felt most intensely in the forehead. • Sphenoid sinuses.
He looked at the CT and he said the area that my other doctor thought was a tooth abscess was simply mucous in the back of my left sinus. I think my first ENT was just feeding me B.S. because he didn't know what was going on. I'm not going back to him. The new ENT specializes in revision surgery, sinusitis that hasnt responded to surgery, sinus disease, etc.. He said surgery at this point would be a very premature decision.

I have always suffered with allergies... such as sneezing and then blowing my nose for half a hour a day at least. We bought a home and moved to the suburbs. When I blow my nose a lot it gets red and sore then swells up. This time it has swollen up for 4 days and did not go away. It is just the top of my nose and the circling areas. It hurts bad and looks like rudolph the red nosed reindeer. It is swollen like a balloon... Does anyone have a clue what it could be.
