abilify and luvox

Dont know much about the luvox, but I used to be on 300 mg welbutrin, 50 mg adderall and 10 mg abilify. Abilify was actually pretty helpful for me and didn't really affect the adderall or anything. But my doctors suggested to take the abilify at night before you go to bed. Hope that helps a little.

I'm currently prescribed on 100 mg of luvox and 10 mg of abilify. However, I've been mistreated by nearly everyone I met in the past 4 years in high school. Teachers, students, everyone. It can't be them, I'm thinking. It has to be me. As punishment, I want to make my OCD worse until I can barely control it. If I stop taking Luvox and Abilify, will I suffer some sort of neurological damage? Or will the only effect be that my OCD will become worse?

me on to help other anti depressant work. They also put me on luvox for OCD. i have heard good and bad things about these combos with adderall. I dont want them to counteract the drug. So any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

I took Abilify and Effexor (seperately) as well, Abilify was the last drug aimed at controling my largely depressive BP. It made me feel blah, less deeply depressed, but it gave me the rare side effect of blurred vision! It was taking a dosage of Effexor which gave me my first flamingly manic episode and caused me to be rediagnosed from severe depression to BP.

I would like for him to change meds, come off the Seroquel and maybe go on another drug (antidepressant such as Luvox) for his OCD. How long would it take for him to wean off Seroquel and start another drug? I feel since he started taking Seroquel in 2004, his eye problem has gotten worse and I would like him to come off the drug. I don't know if this will help with his eyes or not. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

The Luvox CR comes in 100 mg capsules. Would it be okay to take 200 mg of Luvox CR on one day and 100 mg of Luvox CR the next, and alternate since I can't divide the capsules? Thank you.

I am on Trileptal, Lamictal, and Luvox. The only reason why I am really confused is because we haven't made any medication changes for quite a while now. I was very stable for a while, and still am emotionally, but these nightmares and sweats are getting a bit concerning. I just don't like not knowing what is going on with my body. Can your medication start giving you side effects even after being on them for a long time.

I am taking 400mg of luvox and 150mg of lamictal for almost a year now. In the beginning things were good,but the last few months have been very rough. There are days when I do not want to get out of bed(and have actually missed work) Most days the feeling of exhaustion is very overwhelming. I feel very panicky and have no desire to do anything.

Hi doc.I am 21 and i see a shrink and take luvox 50 mg,abilify 10 mg and valproic acid 300 mg(orfiril is called in my country to calm me down).Since i was a child(7-8 years old) i always had this craving for sweets,chocolate,coke,candy and if my mother wouldn't give it to me i would start to get very angry and extremly frustrated, scream and throw things.Back then i wasn't depressed and didn't take any medication.

Hello, Currently, I am on 300 mg fluvoxamine and it's not that great. There's a lot of sweating, still quite depressed, can't get wood very easily, and it's not doing as much for my extreme anxiety as it has in the past. The only thing I can think of is to switch from generic fluvoxamine to brand LUVOX CR. Upgrading to the brand often makes a significant difference. If this doesn't work, or if I get desperate, I was thinking about asking my new p-doc for Viibryd.

During all this I started a new job and I would lay in bed at night and have bad anxiety and panic attacks and I could not sleep . I stated taking .5 alprazolam and it helped for a little while then nothing. My dr. Started me on ambien and lunesta with little relief from either drug. The I started 100mg of trazadone with my .5 alprazolam. I started with a quarter of the trazadone .25 and quickly went all the way up to 200. And still it was a coin toss if I was going to sleep or not.

I took one 40mg pill of Latuda for six days and stopped and then about 40 hrs later took one 50mg pill of Luvox, and have been taking Luvox since then for a couple of days. I said, 26 hours at first but I counted wrong. Should I have waited longer before taking Luvox? How long before the Latuda is out of my body? I took my last pill of Latuda Tuesday, July 3rd at maybe like 11:00pm and my first pill of Luvox Friday July, 6th, around 12:00am.

How were the results of the EEG and MRI and what blood tests were done? Depression usually responds well to both medication and therapy with your doctor. If the different medications do not help, discuss this with your attending physician and a change of drug and further evaluation may be in order. Hang on and stay positive. I am also pretty sure she will not tell her doctor she is taking it and I know for a fact she will not breathe a word to her mother who works in the medical feild and knows her stuff. Also, my friend told me herself that the medication for her bipolar (Luvox) increases caffiene's effects 5 fold. Am I being too much of a worry wort, or is there some valid medical advice I can be given to help bring her to he senses?

Took Viagra no problem went back on klonopin and luvox and didnt need viagra. Had another case of performance anxiety two years later and my obsessions started again. Used Viagra and then no problem.Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.

I have been put on celexa, prozac, abilify,lamictal,zoloft,lexapro,lorazapam,clonazpam,seraquil,luvox,deplin,pristiq,cymbalta,welbutrin and even done 5 sessions of ECT ( electroconvulsive shock therapy) I have been to a neurologist, had an EEG,MRI, thyroid testing,and many blood tests. I am supposed to be attending UNCG in 3 weeks and I would really love go to, but I don't see that being possible in the condition I am in now. This has ruined my life, I would be SO HAPPY to have it back..

My OCD is ruining my life and driving me insane. I have tried every standard OCD med, Clomipramine, Luvox, SSRI's, SNRI's, Antipsychotics, CBT, DBT nothing has helped. I am seriously at the point where I am considering suicide. I can't do anything at all. I have absolutely no life and nothing has helped.

I have an 11 yo daugthe ris being taken off of Luvox 50 mg after 1 1/2 yr. and going to start Cymbalta 30 mg. The doc said to just switch. Is this safe? Does anyone have any input? Please help!

lUVOX IS FANTASTIC FOR MY DEPRESSION AND OCD. I also have the greatest therapist in the world. Along with his help, luvox has been like gold.

Ask her why Luvox? It isn't used often, it has a very short half life, and interacts adversely with many medications. As for weight gain, you can gain weight on any of them. Or not. I was an avid basketball player, studied kung fu, and ran while on Paxil and gained 50 pounds. You just never know.

i was on luvox for many year's and it did great,then i had a down turn and went into depression and did not care about anything.so now i am on effexor.it seem's ok,but not as good as luvox was.they said after that many year's on it,it could have run it's course.so they changed it.i asked my doctor if i could go back on luvox because it worked really well for me,and she said that will definatley be open for disscussion.

What you experience may be quite different from what everyone has posted. You might take Abilify and find that you have no side effects and it helps you and you will continue to take it. You might find that you get side effects that you can't tolerate and then you will quit it. The only way to find out is by trying it.

I am on 90 mg of Cymbalta and just started 15 mg of Abilify for depression. My doctor has titrated me up on the Abilify gradually. My question is for anyone who take 15 mg of Abilify for depression. Have you experienced any side effects? When you're depressed and trying to get your medications right it just isn't fun. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have only started the Abilify so far on day 3 … I was supposed to start together but I dropped the pristiq bottle and pills fell on floor now because of contamination ocd I can’t take them and insurance won’t pay for a refill yet so doctor says just take the Abilify for now , I’m noticing it is helping me to change my behavior versus the ssri just kinda helped me manage my existing behaviors but never had courage or motivation to change my behaviors so I’m hoping that’s where Abilify will come

Hi I have been on 5 mg of abilify and also klonopin since jan..09.Recently i have been having severe dizziness.,y ear hurt so wen to dr put me on antibotic...Abilify has helped my depression so much but im wondering f it would start causing dizziness after being on it since jan 20 09...
