aSo, I’m planning a party dinner at a local restaurant For Ethan 3rd b-day and after Hunter's baptism. So what I need help with is, for every party I have had, I always put a RSVP date and No one ever does this but shows up anyways. I need to find a "nice" way of say YOU HAVE TO RSVP OR YOU CANT COME! Because we are having it a restaurant I need a head count. You know...Any ides??
I live in a very small town outside of Tallahassee and have no insurance so my treatment choices are somewhat limited. I was refered to Vocational Rehab which is a great program in Florida. The ENT man I saw out of Tallahassee is the best and he told me there are no Psedomonas carriers as they are all dead. Most people with CF have problems with Pseudomonas but with the right treatment, they don't die from it. My Dr.
My first baby shower i stressed and cried because no rsvp like i tild them it was a must no exceps only 5 people rsvp and i was so angry but the day of my shower i had exactly 95 people other people have so much going on they forget too RSVP don't worry hun enjoy this time because you going wish one day you can get it back
Did people actually RSVP to yours and how many weeks before did they reply? My Mom sent out invites the first week August, about 50-60 invites and nobody has said anything except maybe 5 people. My shower isn't until Sept. 20th, but I want my Mom to have some kind of idea of how much food to buy.
We were at our local Childrens hospital last night to have a very large one drained. She was on Zyvox during Thanksgiving and we were free of abscesses for 3 weeks. That is the longest she has gone without having one. We have seen an Infectious Disease doctor that doesn't offer us much hope in getting these to go away.
Am I the only one who thinks its soo rude when people dont RSVP for a baby shower, or a party anything in general really...out of 40 people I invited to my shower only 1 actually rsvp and then I sent one on facebook only 8 people responded...like only 9 people are going? Lol likeI just think its rude..
I will have my baby by a certain date (because I'm diabetic, I'll be induced early). A friend's wedding will be in the area 10 days later - no ceremony, just the reception. Should I RSVP tentatively (assuming no issues) or is this still a terrible idea and I'll never actually want to go 10 days after giving birth?
Mom planned the shower and only a couple people rsvp and i looked on my registry and only one thing was purchased.
My baby shower (pending lol) I'm hoping will be March 20th I'll be 33 weeks. Due may 7th. Hoping that will give me enough time to get everything situated before little one comes. Going to send out invites 30 days early so people can rsvp and take off of work etc.
his symptoms returned immediately when the antibiotics were finished. This resulted in 2 debridement surgeries where all the hardware was removed. He was on 6 weeks of IV Vanco and Rifampin which seem to end the infection. 6 weeks ago the went back in to redo the spinal fusion as his scoliosis was still severe and he had become very kyphotic well into his lumbar spine.
I picked up VRE while in the hospital which was treated with 14 days of IV Zyvox. The VRE came back, in my urine, and I was hospitalized again last week and put back on Zyvox (oral this time). I am also on IV clindamycin and azithromycin, and a long list of other medications. While in the hospital they did daily blood work, of course, and my results have gotten progressively worse. They told me to follow up with my pcp, but my pcp is pretty much useless.
I spent about $2,000 on my baby shower, invited 200 guest, and we received 100 rsvps. So we anticipated 100 people showing up. Here is my thing, why RSVP if you are not going to come? There was about 40 people at my baby shower and about 6 bad *** kids.
Question: Should We reach out to people who did not come? Should I be mad? It was mostly my fiancé family, should I mention it?

People have no RSVP courtesy anymore.
I sent most of mine thru facebook and gave the older women a mailed invite. But only 3 people actually RSVP...so we didn't have a clue who was coming!! Although everyone didn't show it was still a nice turn out. .
