Recently, my 6 year old has been complaining of an itchy tongue. He says it's itchy ALL THE TIME. He has been gnawing on it to try to scratch the itch, resulting in canker sore/ulcer-type lesions (that also hurt).
His primary doctor had no idea; she suggested Oral Allergy Syndrome. However, his allergist said there was no way that his tongue would be itchy all the time if it was OAS and didn't even consider allergy testing.
I am a 50 year old male, who for the last few years, seems to have violent coughing/ gasping for breathe when encountered with: stale air (eg. Closed cars) or strong odor (eg. Car exhaust). I have been tested to be allergic to dust/ dust mites. After a couple of minutes of coughing and spiting out and having a tablet of Benadryl allergy medication, things are pretty normal. The above mentioned reactions happen mostly in morning.
I took my dosage and quit hookah. 3 days after the steroids had ended I woke up in the middle of the night with the left side of my tongue swollen. I went to the emergency room and they put me back on steroids and benadryl again. 3 days after my steroid dosage had ended my hand and foot only on the left side started swelling to the point I couldn't walk. Got put back on steroids and zyrtec and some antacids.
and for about 6 days i experienced shortness of breath,sometimes severe,but it has happened to me before aswell as i am allergic to alot of things like perfume,smell,dust and the most common symptom i have is shortness of breath,,,also it could be because i discontinued zyrtec for a week,,,,as for pain,i sometimes have a slight tingling pain in the left of my chest where the heart is,not in the middle...
Hello, I have a soon to be 4 year son whom is currently being treated for asthma. He started to become chronically sick when he was 1 and 1/2 years old. He was 1 month pre-mautre, had RSV at 6 months, and constant ear infections with 2 bouts of right lung pneumonia. I know it sounds like a lot, but otherwise he is a happy, normal little boy. My concern is, he has a constant, chronic, seemingly productive cough.
The amount of Zyrtec I was told to give to Akira is only 1/4 of the adult human dosage. This is much smaller than the children's dosage, which is 1/2 of the adult human dosage. I would never ever give medications to Akira without her first seeing her doctor. I do know that no one should ever give Tylenol to their pets. Tylenol is definitely toxic to both dogs and cats. In fact, some of us humans can't even take the stuff.
Is that enough window period considering she is a 3 and half year old. or do kids have longer window periods. I see everywhere for adults the window period is 3 months, and am not sure about the 3 year kid.
2) Does any antibiotics(i don't remember which antibiotics she used) have any effect on her HIV antibody test result by delaying or hiding the antibodies.
3) Does any of her immunizations have any effect on the HIV antibody test result?.
hi my son 6 years old used( singuilarir montelucast sodium 10 mg) half dose 5 mg becouse I dont find montelucast sodium 5mg in my country. is that right choise?

I walked in on my husbands 4 year old nephew touching my 4 year old son today. They told me they were going to the bedroom to play cars so I didn't think of anything, until I went to check on them . My nephew was on top of my son kissing him and touching him in the wrong place's. I asked them what they thought they were doing and my son said he's cousin said it was a game. I sit with them and explained it was not right and don't ever do it again.
My 5 year old has been picking her scabs on and off for a year now. She seems to have seasonal allergies also. I have noticed when she is on generic Zyrtec for the allergies she doesn't pick as much or stops all together. Then after a meeting with her teacher it was brought to my attention that when she is picking a lot her school work suffers.
