Bump
I'm 13 weeks 3 days pregnant and ever since about week seven I have been feeling nauseous and I haven't been able to eat much meat and not many things sound good to eat or taste good when I eat them. I was throwing up in the mornings but have been takin medicine for that and that has helped but I still tend to dry heave whenever my stomach is hungry or in the mornings. Any suggestions ? Anyone else feel like this ?
I was the same way, this is my 3rd and it was by far the worst "morning sickness" I ever had. I had days I couldn't get off the couch I was so miserable. Salt & vinegar chips worked, country time lemonade, & zofran were my best friends till about 16 weeks..
Im 7 weeks and im starving but nothing taste good, i cant keep it down or i feel full in two bites. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?
So I've been nausous through my entire pregnancy. I've been able to take Zofran and be just fine till a few weeks ago. (I'm 33 weeks) And I've now lost a lbs. Not a good sign in the last trimester. What are some of the meds/ideas your Drs have recommended so I have an idea of what to ask my Dr about? Thanks. I'm really tired of the taste of stomach acid.
Ask your dr about Zofran . Its very safe you cant even overdose on it its so safe . It made me normal again . But for now sucking on hard candy , eating crackers , fruit , peanuts , try spreading peanut butter on the crackers for protien .
Flavor ur water with a pinch of salt, sugar to taste and lemon... that way ull knock out the nasty taste, get electrolytes in and have proper water intake.. :)
Just one point though.. lemons help one lose weight if taken too much.. so moderation is key.. amd cucumbers in water make one feel less hungry... so again moderation is key...
I had the same problem but in my first trimester though... so I did the salt n sugar thing.. it worked for me in different ways...
Having sever all day sickness and only thing working is zofran and just bought some things called preggie pops they seem to help , but looking for other alternatives ( can't stand the ginger taste/smell)) HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!
Ask your doctor for zofran. With my girls they put me on it because I was so sick it was making me dehydrated and nothing worked.
You should ask your doctor about zofran. It worked miracles for me and I had severe all day/night sickness for the first 5 months. He tried me on phenergan with my first pregnancy but I didn't like it cuz of the way it made me feel. All it did was put me to sleep, then when I woke up I just felt drunk and groggy and was still sick as a dog. I loved zofran though, I wouldn't have been able to eat at all or even drink if I hadn't of had it.
My Dr prescribed me 8mg zofran, I take that every morning before I get out of bed and throughout the day when I become nauseous. I've also learned sucking on ice cubes help Me a lot!
So I.started taking zofran because.nausea is so bad. However, now I am incredibly constipated. What can I take that is dr/preggy approved?
I would drink gingerale...but the dr can also prescribe you zofran it worked wonders for me i used to through up n get nauseous all day. although without insurance it can be pricey.
I am in my 15th week...n all d problems which were unbearable has just disappeared for me..except headache which are still der whole day but apart from that all is gudd now...so all the mommaz who are just sick coz of the frst trimester can hope to feel bttr soon by this time just like I m feeling...it feels wonderful to feel normal eat normal..
Hey...I was getting really sick after everything I ate...what I did was drink either milk after eating or drink ginger ale. Also my doctor said I could take zofran...it's nausea medicine and works wonders!! It's amazing. And I am 9 weeks today :D can't wait!
Hi I'm 36 and 9 weeks. I have tried everything for the morning sickness but nothing helps it's so bad that I can't eat or drink and constantly have a funny taste in my mouth.
