That's exactly what I'm taking now... I've even threw up my zofran once or twice... it literally makes you scared to eat or drink anything bc you know what's going to happen.. when I wake up and feel sick... I don't fight it..I'll throw up until the feeling is gone for a while... then I'll take half of the zofran with water waita ewhile then eat a little... but also to thru out the day I take the other half....
Hi, I am 6 weeks pregnant almost 7 now and I have had the worse nausea of my life. Not much of throwing up just nausea. I was prescribed Zofran to help with that but I have found that a lot of women who have taken it have had their child born with deformities. Has anyone taken this medicine before???
I'm experiencing extreme nausea am vomiting... I am 7 weeks...my doctor prescribed me zofran...I am scared to take it because I've seen a commercial about it..I took half a tab today. And I threw that up.
I experienced constipation, and it honestly didn't do much for my nausea. So now I take both Raglan and Zofran for morning (all-day) sickness. A home remedy that I find useful is drinking ginger tea (ginger root peeled and sliced, with hot water. You can add sugar or honey for taste). Good luck!
I've lost 7 pounds since I've been pregnant due to the morning sickness and appetite loss, so my doctor prescribed me Zofran but I really don't want to take it. I'm sure y'all seen the commercials and I looked it up and it does cause those things. What should I do?
Zofran is absolutely horrible do you and your child and shouldn't only be prescribed if in dire need. Try some natural things before you start taking that drug. I took zofran my entire first pregnancy because I was horribly sick an the first 3 months I couldn't even get out of bed let alone eat!
I keep hearing about anti-depressant medication withdrawals. Isn't the half-life on these medications only a couple days? There are things they don't yet know about these medications, but as long as the gradual withdrawal from a medication is followed which is specified by the prescribing doctor, I'm not aware of withdrawals and have never been told by a professional to be aware of withdrawal symptoms.
I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis at 6 weeks pregnant (chronic nausea and vomiting). I lost 32 pounds in my first trimester and did not eat my first real meal until I was 16 weeks. Zofran saved my life!!!! The pills didn't work because I would throw them up so I have a Zofran pump that pumps Zofran into my stomach 24 hours a day! The doctor also has me on Reglan too; which pretty much does the same thing as Reglan.
is zofran safe to take during pregnancy... im 9 weeks and 4 days and the nasuea has been so bad i cant keep anythinf down at all...
I have terrible morning sickness and I was given a prescription for ondansetron 4mg which is the generic version of zofran. I'm scared to take it because of the possible side effects and the warnings I've seen on TV. I don't want to take any risks when it comes to my baby. Any thoughts on this?
