ve eaten anything I feel nauseated. I need some relief. Also I had a miscarriage a year ago and I never had these symptoms last time is the nausea a good sign? I've read where nausea and morning sickness means that there is a healthy baby. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated plz!!!
After going to the EL for dehydration the Dr gave me Zofran and Raglan. Combined those 2 helped alot. Before that I tried eating small frequent meals but bread is what really helped me. I tried lemonade ginger tea ginger ale ice chips preggie pops nothing took away the nausea and vomiting but I learned if I did eat frequently then I would throw up bile and dry heave which drained the life out of me more than vomiting food. I hope it goes away soon for you.
I had hyperemesis too for about 7 months and almost lost my pregnancy several times and was admitted to the hospital once a week I've never heard too much vomiting is a good thing.
My doc then prescribed me Zofran ( oral ) and promethazine back to back...i mean Zofran every 6 hrs and Promethazine every 4 hrs...it really helped..this week im feeling much better..i can eat and drink now...im still taking Zofran and stopped the Promathezine...its not good to vomit like this...my doc told me Dehydration can cause contraction..which is not good..also try Gatorade drinks instead of water..even chew on ice chips..that helped me lil bit...

So this is my third pregnancy. I am 7 weeks and 5 days. My first 2 pregnancies ended in miscarriage. I have horrible nausea and sickness. I can't keep even water down. I'm just miserable constantly. I've even lost weight from it since I found out I was pregnant.
My first 2 pregnancies I was prescribed zofran for nausea. I was told it's very safe, very few side effects. And it did actually take away my nauseousness.

But I do goto the doctor every so often . Also they prescribed me zofan every time I take it I feel like im tasting blood im not bleeding it just taste like it should I stop taking it ? Please help.
I took Zofran to help with morning sickness with my second baby and suffered a miscarriage weeks later and this was in 2012 so this is crazy that just now I'm hearing of it being linked to this. I took the miscarriage very hard and was severely depress behind cause I could not understand how a baby goes from light movements at about 12weeks to just dead.
If that does not work, then you probably need a prescription for Zofran which blocks the nausea and vomiting (which is caused by the drugs). Many of us used Zofran. It works very well for most of us. I took 8 mg every 8 hours for a few months.
Don't let this go. It will snowball. If the phenergan does not work, then ask for Zofran. Zofran does not make you sleepy. Phenergan does. Phenergan is cheaper, but Zofran works better (in my opinion). It is used to treat the nausea from Chemo.
Omg!!! I am having horrible nausea and vomiting went to doc today and lost 14 pounds . Zofran only thing they can give me. The whole crackers light meal deal ..NADA working ... anyone else same issue? I'm 9 weeks sunday-thank god my history of miscarriage s has been rough alone I'm hoping stops soon like everyone says.
Me top and nothing works not crackers juice mints the zofran I'm sick as heck but soon it shall pass

I had a miscarriage at about 6 weeks back in June I am now 4 weeks pregnant and scared. Also I have had extremely bad nausea does any one know of any remedies?
How many of you ladies are still taking zofran? My morning sickness is terrible. I'm 15 weeks and I throw up at least 5 times a day unless I take zofran and I've tried everything else and nothing works. But I know my doctor like personally and she assured me that it was safe and if it were her she would take it. I've lost about 30 pounds and only gained back 7 so she's worried about my weight. And I've lost it because of nausea. So how many Andre still taking it?
zofran is safe :). there are 2 nausea medicines that are considered safe for pregnancy, and zofran sounds like the better choice for you (since phenergan makes you sleepy, and that's the other option, i think it would freak you out!). every medicine is going to carry warnings, and there will be people who SWEAR that this medicine caused this or that...but that's the internet for you. it is considered safe, and your OB only prescribed it because they felt it was safe....
