t particulary want it to be negative, because the drs office stopped the Lortab cold turkey and told me to take Zanaflex for withdrawal systems. I have extreme severe pain due to a tick bite, leading to lung surgery, messing up the nerve endings from my back to my rib cages...I don't do illegal stuff...is there a medication that I am taking or have taken recently that detoxes that out of my system??
headache has grown in size and strength since the ER yesterday. I am on lortab 7 for my previous pain from the surgery-so I feel I am used to the meds and I want to rule that out for how I feel. I am also extremely tired to where I feel as if I could fall asleep anywhere at anytime. I feel weird like I have been drugged-even though I am taking less of the lortab than I took the day before. The lortab never makes me feel like this.
For example, Vicodin can be 5mg of hydro and 500mg of tylenol as can Lortab. Or Vicodin can be 10mg of hydro and 325 mg of tylenol and so can Lortab. So they only way one will be stronger than the other as if the Vicodin was 5/500 and the Lortab is 10/325.

I went to Ohio state in Jan. And have spot on may fifth w ha specialist saw a surgeon and am going to see him again and ask for another transphenoidal neuro eye says he can't do anything bc of Timor on the optic chiasm. I don't loose enuf spinal fluid to cause a spinal headache. Just constant pressure all over and behind the eyes w daily pain waiting of 4/5. When it gets to what I consider 8 it's to the Ed for flds dilaudid and zofran. N which sum dr ***** about.
If that does not work, then you probably need a prescription for Zofran which blocks the nausea and vomiting (which is caused by the drugs). Many of us used Zofran. It works very well for most of us. I took 8 mg every 8 hours for a few months.
Don't let this go. It will snowball. If the phenergan does not work, then ask for Zofran. Zofran does not make you sleepy. Phenergan does. Phenergan is cheaper, but Zofran works better (in my opinion). It is used to treat the nausea from Chemo.
I am 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy little girl (had CVS and level II ultrasound.) Everything looks great. My OB has prescribed lortab for migraines and a neck dystonia (which was previously treated with Botox - but not now due to the pregnancy.) My question is at low levels of lortab -- less than 10Mg a day (and some days with nothing) would it be safe to assume that the chances of withdrawl or low? Should I stop taking completely a month before due date?

How many of you ladies are still taking zofran? My morning sickness is terrible. I'm 15 weeks and I throw up at least 5 times a day unless I take zofran and I've tried everything else and nothing works. But I know my doctor like personally and she assured me that it was safe and if it were her she would take it. I've lost about 30 pounds and only gained back 7 so she's worried about my weight. And I've lost it because of nausea. So how many Andre still taking it?
zofran is safe :). there are 2 nausea medicines that are considered safe for pregnancy, and zofran sounds like the better choice for you (since phenergan makes you sleepy, and that's the other option, i think it would freak you out!). every medicine is going to carry warnings, and there will be people who SWEAR that this medicine caused this or that...but that's the internet for you. it is considered safe, and your OB only prescribed it because they felt it was safe....
I am 14 weeks pregnant and my morning sickness has suddenly increased very bad I called thr dr today and the nurse gave me a prescription for zofran so far it's helped me and it says there are no side effects to me and my baby but some thing I was reading online says about causing cleft palates has anyone else taken this and is your baby perfectly fine?
Hello. I had to take it with my first pregnancy and it was amazing. I had awful morning sickness and it was the only thing that helped. I didn't experience any side effects.
I'm 7 weeks pregnant and suffering from nausea now every min of the day for over a week. I've lost weight and can't get a lot of fluids down And work full time. My Dr. Gave me Zofran but I'm a little weary of taking it. Has anyone taken zofran during pregnancy, what are your thoughts?
Has anyone else had to take zofran every day ? I'm 10 weeks and have to take it every morning.
