No Risk in a "Prick" alone. HIV is transmitted via INJECTION from needles not pricks. You should have still reported this and followed the hospital rules for this type of event.
I performed oral sex on a guy that I later found out has HIV. I certainly swallowed a bit of his cum during the oral sex and the next day discovered he is taking Atripla (medicine for hiv treatment which is said to reduce the viral load to undectable in most cases).

combivir is adeqaute depending on your risk, most doctors prescribe this, it is the standard regimen, it consists of 2 drugs, lamivudine and zidovudine. PEp is a combination of 2 or 3 drugs which can reduce the chances of hiv infection by up to 85%. If you want more u can get more, but in most low risk encounters like yours combivir works just fine.
I went to a clinic and startednPEP (Zidovudine, Lamidovudine and Epivir), the nausea and vomiting has been really bad, also some diarrhea, but i am dealing with it. But today on day 17 of the Treatment I started running a low temperature, 37.5C / 99.6F, also i feel some enlarge nodes, that might have been there before, but not sure.
I am quite scared as the fever started sudden and with no other symptoms of illness.
I've never heard of a floating sensation being a symptom of hypothyroidism. Have you discussed that with your doctor?
Is TSH the only thing you are being tested for, in relation to thyroid? TSH is a pituitary hormone that fluctuates wildly, for a variety of reasons. It should never be used as the sole diagnostic for thyroid well being. It's an indicator at best to be used along with Free T3 and Free T4, which are the actual biological thyroid hormones.
I have not been able to find anything on floating arthritis. Because your symptoms started with an untreated injury, I would suggest you try seeing a doctor and getting x-rays. I believe homeopathy works best in conjunction with "western" medicine. Please come back and let us know what you find out.
I'm a 23 year old male, with no previous medical problems. I've been active all my life and have pretty much maintained a clean bill of health, that is until my most recent incident.
