Does "Simvastatin" cause body itching??? I know that one of the side effect of Simvastatin is "itching". I began to use it one week before. But since that, I began to have body itching all over my body. I wonder if it is just a time coincidence, or it is a result of the negative effect of the Simvastatin??

I've been on Xyzal tablets for 5 years. was given these tablets because I suffered from itchy and runny nose. when I do not take the tablet for more than a day i experience itchiness all over my body especially on the arms and legs. please can you advise whether this is a withdrawal symptom?

Would I be okay if I took a 5 mg of xyzal early in the morning and then another in the late afternoon? Thanks in advance!

I finally figured it out its was only happening the nightd he would have the xyzal....The xyzal made the outside of his lobes and his ears feel like they were on fire!!!

I have been dealing with hives since 2000. All i have to do is be in the sun and i break out. I have tried Zyrtec, Allegra, Singular and now i'm on Xyzal. The Xyzal i only tried one time and woke up the next morning feeling like i was drunk and hit by a train. It left a horrible taste in my mouth. I am so sick of these hives. I'm getting married in August and have a terrible farmers tan and i am asking for any advice on what to do.

I have suffered from severe nasal congestion since first few weeks of pregnancy(23 weeks now). My dr has given me the okay to use benadryl, xyzal ( which is an allergy medication), robitussin Dm, and anything tylenol is perfectly fine. I have used afrin as well. This is my fifth pregnancy and i habe had a cold with every one. Ive taken at least one of these at some point. I can tell you my children have all come out healthy. These medications are class b which is completely safe.

the doctor put me on prednisone 10mg and i have only taken 4 tablets so far and i do not feel any relief-is there another med that would work faster? and what is xyzal 5mg?

m trying to figure out if there are specific chemicals in these products that are known to cause allergic reactions. That way we would know to avoid them in the future. Thank you for your help.

I suggest you look up some articles on crate training and have your husband read them. We are not talking in humane crating here. He probably has visions if puppy mill dogs. Many of us here are experienced and "humane" dog people. Dogs are basically den animals. All my dogs have usually gone in their crates on their own to nap, my little one is in her crate now. I leave the door open. If your dog is ill or injured, the crate comes in handy.

None of the antihistamines helped her - her skin is very very itchy only during the nights - she sleeps only for 2 hrs though she takes atarax and xyzal - in the morning she sleeps well most of the time. We use dust mite covers and air purifier in the bedroom and avoid environmental allergens. Please advise on my daughter's situation - we still do not know the reason for her itchiness.

like myself who is also a (human) medical technician (nurse) said that he has had success with Benadryl Topical liquid on his dogs. I know the fact that it is safe/recommended for human use is not proof it is safe or effective on dogs. Still I'd like to give it a try. On the ears there is no way he can lick/ingest the stuff, on the feet he may get some ingested and perhaps that is a different issue.

for 7 months i was on 40 - 50 mg of ultralan DAILY (it seemed to work better than Prednisone), 2 atarax tablets, 3-4 Xyzal (or zyrtec) daily. if i even tried to lessen the dose then my lips, tongue, eyes and throat would swell. the hives lessened but never fully went away. my weight ballooned and i was in a constant stupor and NOT HAPPY. oh noooo. eventually i started bi-weekly sessions of acupuncture which really really helped and finally i was off the medication.

ve never had allergies to mold, pollen, or any particular food in the past. It seems to have started a few months after I had some major dental work but I don't know if there's any correlation. Before that, I've never had a cavity or any other type of procedure. I also tested positive for Epstein-Barr Virus about the same time I started getting the hives. A slight increase in my WBC count and decrease in TSH over year but there still in normal range. I stay fatigued. Hi, I have mysterious allergy issue, for a long time I didn't know the cause of tingling/shaking, but now I do. My body tingles/shakes all over for day's, after I have a sneezing fit, always happens after I mow the lawn. I'll sneeze 10 times in a row, my nose becomes severly congested, then the symptoms begin. Since July 22 of this year I have been breaking out in what was hives at first on a daily basis. Usually on my legs, and stomach.
