t already been teste for thyroid issues, it would be a good idea. My allergist put me on 2 xyzal twice a day, which was way to much. I took two doses and was weak, tired and had panic attacks. I also have celiac disease and am trying to figure out if the xyzal is gluten free. I was taking benadryl. I dont do well with any antihistamines. I was taking Benadryl. There is also an injection you can get.

You say you have taken the xyzal tablets for 5 years. That's a long time
to be taking a medication. Here is what I would suggest. I would make
an appointment with the doctor who prescribed the xyzal tablets for you.
I would tell your doctor what you just shared in your post. That if you do not take the tablet for more than a day, you experience itchiness all over your body especially on your arms and legs.
My eyes feel horrible, swollen, pressure, ithcy, etc.... Opthomology did a very in depth exam of my eyes twice, could not find anything abnormal. Since last year, I've tried Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, and now Xyzal. No allergy meds works, I still sneeze up a storm. All my troubles began after allergy shots. Any feedback appreciated.
We have taken care of that by removing carpets, hypoallergenic bedding, etc. We use the netipot frequently. He uses nasacort twice a day. He takes 1 tsp of xyzal every night. At this point, I don't even know where to go or what questions to ask. Please, if someone can give me some suggestions of what to test for, what to ask the doctor to look for. I am at a loss.
I have been on many type of antibiotics, use a saline rinse 2-3 times a day, take Nasonex, Astepro, Xyzal, Singulair and headache medicine. Some days are better than other but most days are constant pain, numbness, throbbing. A cat scan showed fluid in maxillary sinuses and some ethnoid sinusitus but my ENT surgeon shows no infection and is now considering a tubinate "snip" as he calls it to because my left turbinate is a bit large.
Hi...I have never heard of that med, but in research see it is used for reflux and gerd jut like the meds I am aware of.
The dr will RX meds for the mgs and dosage ( times per day) per ur symptoms and how much healing u need.....I am on a gerd med and take it twice a day.....
If u also modify ur diet and lifestyle u may heal a bit faster and be able to cut back on teh dosage faster.
m currently taking hydroxizine, 50mg four times a day, periactin 8mg 4 times a day, and 150mg of zantac twice a day, with little relief. It helps the itching a bit, but i still break out. I've tried cotazone shots, prednisone, xyzal, cleratin, allegra. Nothing is helping! On top of all of that, because of the prednisone, i gained 60 lbs and canned shed them because i cant exercise!!!

While breathing in, tighten throat(contract glotis) and there will be sound from back of throat, then drop chin(rest chin on chest), hold breath as long as possible.Then chin up, close right nostril and slowly breath out through left nostril.

t accompanied by the lightheadedness and brain fog, which sometimes by the end of the day turns into a very bad headache and then disappears. I did have one random week where my symptoms weren't as bad, then the next week they came back again. An odd thing is that I feel my best when I am running, and worst when I am sitting and reading. My neck can also feel sore and head feels too heavy at times.
I have been allergy tested and take a shot a week because I was allergic to everything. I take xyzal, singular, and Concerta daily. None of these were started when fever appeared. I have recently developed a cough and a catch in my breathing when I try to speak. My vision is increasingly becoming more blurry, so bad that my son is complaining about it. TB skin test negative. Multiple UA's negative. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Soon enough I went to visit a doctor about it who took a look at my ears and told me they were perfectly fine but he gave me some xyzal and nasonex nose spray. After taking both the noise began to slowly fade away but this odd feeling in my ear has still persisted and every time I yawn I can still feel the slight uncomfortable/pain at the left side of my neck.
I took XYZal for 4 days for my Fall allergies. Once I stopped, I developed this maddening itching all over!!!! I went to my dermatologist who prescribed hydroxyzine capsules. The meds help somewhat....but also make me tired so I can only take at night!!! I have been suffering for FIVE weeks. Any idea when I can expect this reaction to end?? Or at least some tips on method of relief? PLEASE!!
I did not take amoxicillin or anything like that for the EBV. My doctor did give me Xyzal for lightheadedness that I've been having lately and I did notice it made a difference with the hives. I have so many issues going on right now, I don't know what has to do with what. My allergy test is this Thursday and if I have any hives during the appointment, I will make sure to show them to the allergist.
eventually i started bi-weekly sessions of acupuncture which really really helped and finally i was off the medication. i still take a daily xyzal otherwise the hives come back not the anaphylaxis though. it took another 2 years to lose the steroid bloat.
the steroids muck up your system totally. still can't take most dairy products. most of my teeth fillings fell out and other healthy teeth started crumbling. my bones were brittle.
I used them but they aggravated the situation, thus I changed to use Daktocort and cleanse with SebaMed and took Xyzal, it helped. Pls advise.
