What would NOT be done is to stop anticoagulation altogether. here is a (free full text) study from 2007 on whether to: continue through with warfarin, or to stop the warfarin and bridge in between with enoxaparin or heparin (as snconorm had done). http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/full/116/22/2531 So continuing through with warfarin seems to be the newer strategy. What would NOT be done is to stop anticoagulation altogether.

The newer inhalers, or any newer medication for that fact, are more expensive, because they still have their patents (usually for 10 years). When there are generics available then the patent has expired. I would go to a good pharmacy to buy my generics. Who knows what you get online, as it is not regulated. You can try to reduce your asthma symptoms through getting plenty of rest, a good diet and keeping your bedroom clean.

There are blood tests used to check for markers for generic abnormalities (like t21) that will also tell gender and can be done much earlier, friend of mine found out at 12 weeks. But it's still a new test, don't know if it's available everywhere, and you may have to be high risk already to qualify for it. So that might not be an option for you. Ultrasound gender determination can usually tell about 16-20 weeks.

Also check with the drug companies. Under some circumstances the drug companies will help but I'm not sure if they will when you already have insurance available...but it's worth checking. Hello, I see the name of the drug in the title of your question, sorry I missed this the first time through. This drug is still available as a generic, it looks like the price of the drug has increased due to higher cost for Walgreens to purchase it. I'm afraid the other drugs available for BPH will probably be as or more expensive than Doxazosin, but I would check with your local Walgreens pharmacist for more price options.

The color will depend on the generic manufacturer your pharmacy has a deal with and the dosage. And most people report brand name drugs, while a lot more expensive, work better. They certainly have better quality control as they don't have to cut corners because of low profit margins. So you can have a different reaction to each generic. I have had some generic drugs that had no effect on my what so ever when another worked fine. My best advice would be that you ask if your pharmacy order the drug made my Mylan (yes it is available) and if they won't/can't then go to another one who offers it or will order it for you. There is no reason you should suffer side effects. I am sorry to hear you have gone through all of this.
