Does anyone know if the generic Harvoni is available in India or Thailand yet as I was told that it would be made available in the last quarter of the year, Im no Einstein but this is the last quarter! Does have any info I can glean some hope from?
Frustrated at sweats, no energy, difficulty in thinking and conversing, did i mention no energy, being treated like a second class citizen or at least the stigma of having it!
Once I beat hep c, it will just be the Parkinsons to deal with.....
No significant health problems other than mild hypertension treated with Avalide. My potassium was low (I think due to the HCTZ in the Avalide). I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs. I saw a neurologist, who says the MRI is normal, EEG is not (temporal lobe irregularities). He's on vacation...I'm traveling alot and can't see him for another 2 weeks. Is this a problem I need to see someone about before then?
None of this makes sense to me or to my doctors since I should be back where this all began the middle of March when I took this antibiotic and had this episode.
I want to go off norpace and try ternormin again since that is the first medication I was on when this first started in 1981. I was on tambacor until after the ablation but had a lot of side effects from it.
The newer inhalers, or any newer medication for that fact, are more expensive, because they still have their patents (usually for 10 years). When there are generics available then the patent has expired. I would go to a good pharmacy to buy my generics. Who knows what you get online, as it is not regulated. You can try to reduce your asthma symptoms through getting plenty of rest, a good diet and keeping your bedroom clean.
There are blood tests used to check for markers for generic abnormalities (like t21) that will also tell gender and can be done much earlier, friend of mine found out at 12 weeks. But it's still a new test, don't know if it's available everywhere, and you may have to be high risk already to qualify for it. So that might not be an option for you.
Ultrasound gender determination can usually tell about 16-20 weeks.
Also check with the drug companies. Under some circumstances the drug companies will help but I'm not sure if they will when you already have insurance available...but it's worth checking.
So as not to give BCBS a complete bad rap, I went through TX with BCBS and I paid a total of $15 a month for riba and pegasys. I had no problems with them whatsoever on any of the many bills I had during treatment.

Somebody mentioned that a weekly dose costs about N96000($600/week) and for a total course of 96 weeks, the cumulative cost will be unbearable for many

I see the name of the drug in the title of your question, sorry I missed this the first time through. This drug is still available as a generic, it looks like the price of the drug has increased due to higher cost for Walgreens to purchase it. I'm afraid the other drugs available for BPH will probably be as or more expensive than Doxazosin, but I would check with your local Walgreens pharmacist for more price options.
Hello, I’ve had high blood pressure since I’ve been a teen quite stable at 160/80 I’m now 27 years old and have been on medication for 2 years now… I started with avopro 150mg I went down to about 145/70, then they changed my medication to avalide 300/12.
The color will depend on the generic manufacturer your pharmacy has a deal with and the dosage. And most people report brand name drugs, while a lot more expensive, work better. They certainly have better quality control as they don't have to cut corners because of low profit margins. Most of us do fine with generics, but then, since our docs pretty much always prescribe generic if it's available, most of us really don't know what the brand name feels like in comparison.
So you can have a different reaction to each generic. I have had some generic drugs that had no effect on my what so ever when another worked fine. My best advice would be that you ask if your pharmacy order the drug made my Mylan (yes it is available) and if they won't/can't then go to another one who offers it or will order it for you.
There is no reason you should suffer side effects. I am sorry to hear you have gone through all of this.
They would stop swelling when I raised my arms above shoulder level. When I awoke this morning there seemed to be no problem but the condition returned later in the morning. I’ve never noticed this before.
I’m 58 yrs old, 5 ft 10 in and 200 lbs. I’ve been taking Avalide 150/12.5 for pre-hypertension for 8 months. I exercise six times per week and have done so for years; weights twice each week and spinning/bike four times. Any thoughts, input would be appreciated.
