I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.

I have noticed that now that 7 years have passed while still on flexeril, the drowsiness is very mild and lasts only for a short while shortly after taking the medicine. Sometimes I don't notice any drowsiness after I take it. So there is a good chance that the drowsiness will go away or lessen over time. Unfortunately they don't loosen my muscles as much as or not at all like they used to.

Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. I would love to find a non addictive form of medication for anxiety. To me they are all the one. Only some are longer lasting. Like Klonopin. It is used for more lasting anxiety sufferers. Not a quick fix for an anxiety attack. But if you ever have to come off it, well, it is the same old problem. Weaning and withdrawls. Just like every other form of medication. Just a case of which one can be used, without losing tolerance, for the longest amount of time. Klonopin wins that race.

She will NOT prescribe it to me for that very reason. It was a drug I used for many years (combined it with hydros for relief and then later for the affect). I was given Flexeril post surgery and again with 2 back flare ups in the past 9 months. Another muscle spasm/relaxant that is non-addictive is Baclofen. Soma CAN be abused.....I abused it and always missed it when I couldn't get my hands on any. If you are in recovery.....my counsel would be to stay FAR away from Soma.

What antihistamines have you used? It wasn't an antihistamine with a decongestant or Benadryl was it? Singulair can be used for Allergic Rhinitis like you have, however, this is usually prescribed for someone with Asthma issues secondary to Allergic Rhinitis. What nasal steroid are you using? Most of them can be used long term.

I was unable to tolerate all anti Parkinsonian agents because they enduced psychosis as well as alpha blockers such as Clonidine because they enduced suicidal ideations. Has Zofran been regularly used as safe and effective for Zofran? What are the side effects? And also given I read it helped psychosis from Parkinson's could it help what is being studied as tardive psychosis.
