The reason that the other poster could have been cured by cipro is that she may have had a Mycoplasma and it may have been sensitive to ciprofloxacin. But the standard treatment for bv is either metronidazole or Clindamycin. If you were my patient, I would advise you that the obvious problem with using the Metrogel and the tampons is that the tampons will soak up the gel. Since you are at the tail end of your therapy anyway, you could probably get away with using the gel at night before bed and the gel during the day although it is not ideal, it is probably good enough.

Yes I have had it. Go get your self tested .. very odd that they didn't test you sew-cute. But they put you on a med for 2x a day 7 days a week metronidazole I believe is what it is called I have Google it and it said it's a class b drug and if you don't take care of the problem then it can cause problems for the baby so I just took it ...
