however, this time she gave me the cream and i used it for the 7days like she said and didnt have sex w my bf at all. after the 7th day of using the terconazole cream my bf and i had sex w a condom. the next few days it felt a lil irritated, but i thought it was maybe due to the sex. i then noticed a slight discharge, but thought nothing of it cus it looked like normal discharge...so i thought. now, its january and i believe the yeast infection is BACK!

The western blot if the best test available to diagnose herpes by antibody test, and though it is not 100% perfect, it is very very good. No test is 100% perfect.
The contact that you describe with this other person presents zero risk of getting genital herpes. Zero.
If you are having bumps under the foreskin, and you responded to fungal treatment and you have a negative western blot for herpes, I would strongly suspect that it was fungal.

Me too I was put on Diflucan and started bleeding three days after even though my period is not due for another week or so. The bleeding was light for the first week and very heavy for the last two weeks. I went to see an OBGYN and she took a simple and blood work...I have very painful and tender womb now still bleeding and awaiting the lab results. Please any advice is greatly appreciated.
question ladies...i took my diflucan pill on monday, but i wanted to know is a white discharge a side effect of the pill? i have taking diflucan multiple times before, but i never bothered those times to actually look and see what was going on down there. this time i did and it seems like a white discharge is coming out...someone told me that was the yeast mixing w/the medicine coming out. is that true?
In addition, 6 days after the exposure my throat culture came back positive for Strep, I took and antibiotic and tested negative for Strep a few weeks later. At 4 weeks post exposure I tested positive for yeast, I took Diflucan again for 7 days when I tested positive for yeast. None of this changed the status of my tongue. Then at 8 weeks post exposure I tested negative for Candida, but my tongue looked the same.
I am 38 weeks pg., and have had a yeast inf. for about a week and a half...I have taken the Diflucan pill once, a cream (one time application) once, and now the Dr. gave me more Diflucan..... what else can I do???? Should I buy some over the counter monistat and use that too???? It is such a stubborn infection with all these hormones....what the heck do I do at this point??? I am so frustrated. Please help me.
I went to a walk in center and I told them about my symptoms and the jus decleared it an yeat infection. (didnt run no test or anything) They gave me a perscription for Diflucan 150mg just 2 pills. They instructed me to take 1 pill and then if within 24 hrs if the symptoms havent cleared up to take the 2nd pill and from there if no progress to make an appointment with my primarly doc.

The baby is literally a bundle of cells at this point. I was also worried about meds I had taken before I knew I was pregnant and my doctor told me just that, and not to worry.
I am currently being treated with Diflucan and Cipro for an existing yeast problem. I am taking Diflucan for 30 days and Cipro for 10 days. This will give me some relief for about three or four months and then I will need to treat the problem again. Questions: Should I change the Diflucan/Cipro time schedule or try different drugs? Any other suggestion would be very much appreciated. I should note that I take enzymes with each meal (Digest Gold and Fenol) Thanks for any help, Sam.

The Mg was just by itself, not blended with anything. I have switched to another brand now, that I get from the same internet site. This Mg costs more than the discontinued one, so I'm looking around for options. The one I have now, other than the price, is fine.
It's more the formulation than the brand that I look for ... I was told that any variety of Mg ending in "-ate" is most absorbale, so that's what I look for: Mg malate, orotate, citrate, aspartate, etc.

I have herpes but the itching from that is usally in one location, plus I have medication for that. Whatever is causing this, is making me itch everywhere down there.
I finally made an appointment on Friday. The Dr. said it was a yeast infection and prescribed me with diflucan but the itching hasn't gone away. I thought diflucan was supposed to alleviate the symptoms by now.
I was diagnosed with HPV/Genital warts almost 10 yrs ago.
First it was a yeast infection the dictoar treated me with 2 rounds in diflucan. Before and after the treatment I used monistat. No relief. So I went to my gyno and she said the yeast was gone but I had BV. Sh gave my flafyl. Finished it but was still itching.she then prescribed me clindamycin vaginal cream.finished that and still no relief. I've tried everything. Probiotics,yougurt, changed toilet paper,only washed with mild soap,etc. I changed my whole routine.
Okay I've had yellow discahrge and burning since last July. I've been tested for STI's all were negative. Well last Friday my girlfriend took me to the hospital because of the burning and the pain the hospital tested for trich yeast gonherra and chlymidia. They said it was all negative and sent me home.
