As for your daughter, there are still meds they can use....but with caution. It seems that she is very sensitive to anything foreign med wise.

I have simple partial seizures and was on xanax on an "as needed" basis to control some nervousness about going back to college. I was on it for about 2 months. I started realizing I got less of my sensory and motor seizures which have always been uncontrollable since I started getting them back in 2000.
Thursday my female 10 lb. 2 year old Japanes chin was lethargic and not eating. She was givin Reglan and Pepcid at the clinic. Friday still lethargic not eating and had a fever. Friday she had blood work and xrays. Everything was normal except slightly anemic. Also a questionable gas pattern and a dark area in the stomach on xray. was given fluids, baytril injection, and ampicillan injection. Went home with bayrtil prescribed once a day and probiotic, still on pepcid.
I have no idea what to do and im really scared! I have been getting these bumps around my pubic area, at first i thought they were ingrown hairs..but now im starting to get worried! Its a hard bump, sort of brusied looking, i tried to pop it and a clear puss and blood comes out, its painful, and i have had them in different places around the pubic area..what do i do!?
It is currently nothing that is bothersome, although this past month I developed an edematous cheek (possible sinus infection - of which I have never had) and was placed on cefzil. I have responded well to the antiobiotic and the edema is starting to subside. The lesion did bother me at the onset of infection - more an awareness, than pain. That could be in part due to the fact that it has grown significantly in the last 3/52.
Well, you should NEVER stop medication on your own without notifying your doctor. Do you have a mood disorder or bipolar? That is really important to treat. Talk to your doctor. Seroquel works well instead of Abilify as you know (why did you change?) but there are others in the same class of drugs as well that are good medications. There are several to choose from. Seroquel is one and if it worked before, no reason to change. But that is between you and your doctor.

this is a discussion forum and others of us here do have our own opinions based on our own life experiences and pretty much that is what we try to impart to the new members here. When it comes to doctoring well I'll leave that to the doctors because I certainly am not one. But if someone wants to know if it's ok to do treatment on methadone or if tx feels like heroin withdrawl oro what it's like to watch a human being die of end stage liver disease.....
Foul as in notably bad can be bacteria and antibiotics are used to treat this. Diseases are not a concern. Most likely this is the natural smell and not a problem. But if the odor becomes quite strong, you can be checked at the doctor's. They simply swab the discharge and look at it under a microscope to see what it is. Then they treat it. Nothing serious!
