Common Questions and Answers about What is cefzil used for

cefzil

Avatar f tn Oral antibiotics such as Cefzil are often used for infections around the eye where there is evidence of soft tissue infection out of the infected eyelid gland. There is no reason to second guess the physician that actually examined you. And as far as "bad reviews" look up how many people bleed to death every year from asprin, or die in car accidents, or who die in their sleep. Nothing in life and medicine and medication is without possible side effects.
Avatar f tn My eight year old is allergic to amoxicillin, zithromax, clindamycin, and cefzil. We have seen an allergist, and he said there are no tests for antibiotics and that "we have a problem." Can someone please guide me in what to do next? My doctor was hoping the allergist would help guide us for future treatments. I am fearful for any infection like strep throat, ear or skin infections, we have run out of options.
Avatar f tn I wonder if desensitizing is an option for your daughter, it is just something to throw on the table though. Desensitization is a closely monitored procedure, usually in a hospital (at least that is how it was explained to me). I hope that you find answers soon...
Avatar f tn this is known as off labeling...where a drug is intended for one purpose but used for another....in this case insomnia......
Avatar f tn He put me on antibiotics and recommended I use this soap called cefzil and right away I noticed the boils(purple/redish bumps that have pus in them) lighten up as for the pimples I use oxypads and for everytime I use the restroom I wipe with a babywipe. I hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I have a 10mm x 3mm x 3-4mm raised right buccal? mucosa opposite tooth#16. After seeing my dentist for a routine examination earlier today, I was referred to an oral surgeon for removal and biopsy of the aforementioned lesion. It is currently nothing that is bothersome, although this past month I developed an edematous cheek (possible sinus infection - of which I have never had) and was placed on cefzil. I have responded well to the antiobiotic and the edema is starting to subside.

1084115 tn?1385228589 It is best to consult with a hepatologist. This is especially true for cirrhotics taking medications to manage their cirrhosis as drug to drug interactions can be dangerous. All transplant centers have pharmacists that specialize in drug treatment for cirrhotics. All patients should be treated on an individual basis due to their own unique factors.
Avatar n tn I take meclizine for the nausea, valium for the brain shocks, and now Seroquel for insomnia. Valium I can quit cold turkey(long half-life). Its seroquel that has me concerned because it antagonizes many parts of the brain that Remeron does creating a sedative effect possibly making it addictive. Am I robbing Peter To pay Paul???? Has anyone had experiences with Remeron(mirtazapine) or Seroquel (quetiapine). Particularly withdrawal Experiences.
Avatar f tn My 10 year old has been diagnosed at a childrens hospital with asthma about 4 years ago As an infant I had been given an inhaler and mask for her because she was wheezing after throwing up her formula which she did often .
Avatar m tn Because you are playing "what if". We could be here for hours comeing up with "what if". If a condom is reused it is not easy to get on, it would be a struggle.

Avatar f tn Toddlers tend to put their hands in their mouths alot ( and my son ***** his thumb when he is sleepy).I wash his hands often but he still gets these throat infections. Except for a period when he went about 4 months without any problem, he gets the infections about every three to four weeks or so. On occasion, if his throat is only a little red, he will get over it on his own. But more often that not, his throat is very infected and ulcers develop so that he needs an antibiotic.
Avatar n tn Well, its most common use is for anxiety - which is fairly common for people with ADHD. You can read more about it here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propranolol What I don't understand is why your doctor didn't explain this to you. Especially if you are prone to anxiety, the not knowing only makes it worse.
