I've been taking tamsulosin for 3 or 4 years now after my urologist prescribed it for BPH. I've slowly started having leakage issues lately where I will have a strong sudden urge to urinate and have a difficult time holding it until I can get to a toilet. Sometimes some urine leaks out and other times the urge will pass and I can wait before racing to the toilet.

Does Tamsulosin 0.4 Mg cause Ed?

Do you have stones in your urinary tract? Tamsulosin can treat that, but isn't usually given for an uncomolicated UTI. I can't tell you to stop taking it, but you should absolutely let your doctor know about your retrograde ejaculation, and find out if you had stones. Never hesitate to contact your doctor. I just have this poking chest pain in the left side relieved by tamsulosin. does the r axis mean definitely I have enlarged right atrium or ventricle? so I could have some fibrosis? I wish this pain and prostate infection would just die I've begun to distrust test ranges, I think I may have some hypertension and the ranges are off.

its strange that till now im having no pain, and no symptoms of stone going out.. i don't know what to do now.. i have stopped taking pain killers and now taking only tamsulosin.. im drinking around 2 liters water daily, lemon juice etc..

Vomiting is not an issue, although I do find myself to be pretty consistently, but only slightly, nauseated. Do I stand a chance of avoiding surgery? Do I stand a chance of avoiding a stent if surgery is necessary? I see doc day after tomorrow. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for the inevitable. Why in the world won't my body expel such a small stone? (Ha. How much more can I whine?

I had agressive treatment with a combination of external radiation and Brachytherapy. I now on Uromax tablets (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg) which is causing me severe pain when ejaculating. Please advice if there is anything I can as I am still very young.

I am using Flowmax (Tamsulosin) for about 3 months for enlarged prostate. I started noticing my Testicles hang lower now and not tight anymore since I have been using this medication.. Could this be from the use of Tamsulosin?

I saw my urologist he other day and she said that she now like Rapaflo (slidosin) more than Flomax (tamsulosin) for urinary hesitancy. Both are designed to address benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). I know the primary audience is men, but there are women who take tamsulosin for urinary hesitancy. I was taking the max dose of tamsulosin, .8mg/day. I'm now taking 8mg Rapaflo/day. I'm told that it will take 4-5 days to see the full benefit if Rapaflo and I'm now on day 3.

It is unhealthy and can also create cataracts. DO NOT TAKE TAMSULOSIN FOR ANY REASON. There has to be something else,,, Anything else will be better.

Pain initially began as irritated foreskin. It was chronically sore and hurt. Seemed like it was always raw. From there, I experienced burning when ejaculating and sometimes peeing. This started over a year ago. Urologist took urine test/bacterial culture which was normal. No stds present. We tried tamsulosin which I stopped because I couldn't tell if it was doing anything (took for a couple weeks). He said I could try an oral anti fungal or some sort of antibiotic next if I wanted.

I tried this for 6 days with no change to the symptoms Again tested Urine - negative for bactria etc 7 weeks from the first symptoms,we tried Lyrica 0.4mg (twice a day) along with Tamsulosin (Alphablocker,once in night) and continue Celebrex 200 mg twice a day. I changed my Urologist, he did an ultrasound and DRE and bladder,kidney and prostate are in good shape with no inflammation or abnormalities.

However straight away i get the feeling in the uretha again of needing to urinate. I am currently on Mirabegron and Tamsulosin medication. It has helped slightly but i still get the symptoms of above. My NHS recommends i may now need BOTOX injections.

the pain was through the whole pelvis and also individual veins or spermatic cord. does Flomax permanently shrink your prostate or reduce testosterone levels? I read one forum where people where saying they had a permanent loss of strength, could not throw the discus as far? I'm still not cured of the pelvic pain on Flomax+cipro after a few days it is labeled as relaxing the bladder neck and prostate muscles but it has these strength loss problems.
