During the ultrasound the tech found a cyst on my left ovary, and she started asking about my period. I told her about my Apr. appointment. When the doctor came in she was holding a pic of a baby. s are only interested in testing for those three things....and most patients have no clue what these test are for, let alone to ask for FT3 and FT4.... My endo did not request it...so i requested it from my GP and she had to write it in on the lab slip because it was not on there. The only way most docs will order these specific tests is if the patient request them. I have also noticed that if you don't ask specific questions to the doc's, you will be completely lost.
