So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

I actually remembered that from my high school history class. Mr. Ken Langbell.... Good teacher.... a bit kooky, but a good teacher. He only threw me out of class 1 time.
I like this quote because it reminds me of my ultimate favorite movie "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. If You haven't seen it, Robiin Williams dies and goes to heaven, but his heaven looks like a painting that his wife had made for him, before he died. There is a bunch of other good stuff too, but you have to watch the movie.
Omg....I can't even read your whole post proper as this is one of the greatest fears of my life. No kidding ...uber huge....huge prayers for you!! Huge words of support and respect for your bravery on every level. Knowing what you're in for....you are a superhero in my books right now.

I watched for the millionth(not really but a lot) The Bird cage ' really humorous Robin Williams is great in it ..I also like some of the housewife series .

1) Last week we started weekly NST and ultrasounds to monitor my baby because of the gestational diabetes. Robin is measuring large 34 wks 3 or 4 days when she was 33 weeks 1 day on the day of the test. We have another one tomorrow (Tuesday) and will have them every Tuesday between now and 38 weeks. We didn't get to talk to the perinatal specialist because he was in a meeting and I had an appointment with my OB right after my scan.
I agree it's so sad i too was brought up with Mork&mindy. RIP Robin Williams you will be sorely missed. Such an amazing talent. Thinking of you& your family.
The Virchow-Robin spaces could definitly be the cause of your headaches and dizziness/motion sickness, which could result in an upset stomache. VRS is hard to explain, it is enlargening around the arteries in your brain. It involves pathways that contain interstitial fluid and cerebral spinal fluid that can affect balance/coordination and cause motion sickness, amoung a variety of other neurological symptoms.
Robin Williams past away yesterday and I am so emotional about it !!!!! I loved him as an actor yes. I love Whitney Houston as a singer but I did not cry when she passed away.
Is this just my hormones acting crazy !!
