So you have to keep pushing with docs to do frequent checks until it shows up. Unfortunately, there is a big struggle to get docs to treat you seriously on symptoms alone until the condition shows up in your blood. You have to keep pushing and not give up to get answers. Good luck.
I do alot its like all the blood rushes to my face with different emotions but only my checks feel hot nothing else but then when i get thay way i think i panic which makes the sensation run through my body but then i goes away.
Have any of you done self checks for dilation? Ive tried but im too huge to get a good angle. What angle worked for you ladies?
Is it possible to go into labor soon after the doc checks your cervix? Has that everhappened to any of you ladies?
I got my cervix checked today I'm 3 cent dialated and 75% effaced, I'm 38 weeks exactly and I have been feeling sooo weak and my body hurts and now I'm getting some contractions I believe. They are a bit painful and occurs both while I'm walkin around or laying..idk if they're real or not I'm a ftm.
Any thoughts??
So, now that I'm over 36 weeks, and going to the OB once a week, the cervical checks have begun. I don't mind them, EXCEPT for the fact that I bleed every.single.time! So frustrating! I had one yesterday and I'm still spotting. :( My midwive assures me it's completely normal, but it's still frustrating. I mean, come on? What pregnant woman wants to see any form of blood down there.
Does anyone else have spotting/bleeding issues during cervical checks and pregnancy?
My first pregnancy I had my son at 35 weeks so I never made it to the appointments when they do these checks. Is it painful? Or is it more of just an uncomfortable pressure feeling?

I had a DVT that went through my heart and into my lungs(PE).
A valve was damaged, also one chanber of my heart.
My problem is that I wasn't diagnosed as a "heart attack", but rather a "pulmonary embolism", and the lawyers representing me in my vioxx lawsuit say it has to be a heart attack, not a PE.
Isn't a heart attack part of a PE? Rather, did I suffer a heart attack as well as a pulmonary embolism?

I mean i read from some of the responses that if say like AFP is raised then it would be an indication to do further checks.... Zelly your response was no such data can even show any abnormalities... Does that me that a standard test would only show the VL and ALT levels etc....
