I am a 28 year old male. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Pityriasis Rosea and I took some prescribed cream to clear it up. I've cleared it but it comes back, it seems, once per year. This time when it came back, I didn't bother treating it as I never feel itchy and the only symptoms are visual.
I have also noticed this time that I have a red texture on my penis head. Could this also be a spreading of Pityriasis Rosea on the penis head or related some how?
I was diagnosed with Pityriasis Rosea about 6 wks ago, so I looked up all the signs and symptoms. My hesitancy with accepting this diagnosis: I didn't have a herald patch, my age is out of the normal range to get this (54), there is no itching, it has not spread, and the lesions are not all oval or round.
All the lesions showed up at the same time on one day. They haven't multiplied, but they have gotten larger and some have spread into each other.

I know a second occurence of pityriasis rosea is atypical and non-oval shapes are atypical; however, I am guessing that the rash on the back of my neck could of been a undefined herald patch. There is no redness around "spots"-- spots are defined and red to purplish red to brownish skin color.

at first, after research, I self diagnosed it as pityriasis rosea since i was accompanied by flu-like symptoms for about a month.. but that has subsided, but the spots are still there. Its very embarrassing and anything ive tried hasn't seemed to make any improvement.

Are they a little scaling? I had this break out of oval, pink, scalie things that started on my shoulder & worked it's way down to my belly. They covered my tourso from tops of my shoulders to just above my thighs on the front & back. This lasted about 3 weeks until they finally went away. It was pityriasis rosea. Google it & see if that's what you may have. It will go away with no treatment. Hope that helps.
