I have been trying different eye drops for my dry eyes and the irritation. I am on prescription antibiotics as well but for inbetween. I have tried systane,thera tears,natural tears and my doc gave me optive which has perservatives and the others don't but tried them now. Does anyone find one brand better then others and is there issues with using the preservative ones? He said it was fine to use 4 times a day.
I have been using over the counter eye drops (namely, Opcon A) daily for a few years in order to combat my red eyes. i suffer from vernal keratoconjunctivitis in my right eye. This year, i have been given steroid eye drops a couple of times. Previously, no doctors give me that. In the past 12 months, i been given this eye drops, optodexine, twice. Both for one month. Next, i have also been given, Minims dexamethasone 0.1% single dose drops, the first time was for 1 week.
