viagra

Avatar m tn Instructions for Viagra, Cialis, etc. say not to take w/ BP meds. I'm thinking there are a cpl possibilities. Diovan (Valsartan) is available in different doses (20 mg, 40 mg, etc.), so maybe you could take a lower dose on the day you'll be using Viagra. Or possibly just skip your usual dose that day, then resume the next. However, your Dr. may not agree. I think the best strategy is to ask your Dr. about using these 2 drugs at the same time.
Avatar f tn I know that with so many online pharmacies offering viagra (often scammy, if you ask me) and countries with less stringent rules regarding availability of viagra than my own . . . it is tempting to self treat. With your cardiac history, don't do it. Make your gp appointment and get on their wait list for a cancellation. They often have them. You can show up in one of their cancelled slots and often the wait is not nearly as long as you think.
Avatar m tn ANYTHING can cause a temp ED problem, even in your 20's!!! I would suggest seeing your dr & mentioning the Accutane & the research results you have found. I do vaguely remember seeing an advertisement for some lawyer group in the states claiming a lawsuit to the manufacturer of Accutane & anyone who suffered from a list of problems INCLUDING Accutane !!!
Avatar m tn Hi folks, I'm a 41-year old man. I've been having ed problems on and off for a while. I apparently have low testosterone, and have been using Androgel for that. I've also tried, Viagra, and it works like a CHARM pretty much every time. Here's the thing: I'm a very sexually open person, and I've recently experimented with a few threesomes and foursomes. In each of those cases, despite using the Viagra, I was unable to get an erection.
Avatar n tn Well, Viagra is not safe at all in the presence of nitroglycerin tablets and in fact, we know that if anyone takes Viagra with nitroglycerin tablets, that the blood pressure can be lowered precipitously and can be lowered to such levels as can be extraordinarily dangerous to you. [ABC News report from May 2008 - Internet] As we know, not everyone experiences negative side effects from every medication.

Then a took viagra a couple hours later and has the swollen erection.
Avatar f tn Concomitant use of Viagra and nitrates may cause severe drop in blood pressure. I recommend you consult your cardiologist before using Viagra, and yes it may help in your case if it is not contraindicated.

Avatar m tn Hi i'm 36 years, If I'm using 100mg (viagra) tablets in before having sex with my wife. Is it affected to her pregnancy or not..??
Avatar n tn Definitely check in with your health care provider before using viagra and heart medication. Viagra was accidentally discovered to work for ED when being studied for it's affects on the heart. They always ask you if you are taking this. Men taking ED medications can not take nitrates as a general rule.
Avatar f tn So, yes. Viagra can cause GI side effects. Here are the ones listed on the RX website: stomach pain, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea. Indigestion, or heartburn, is a common side effect of Viagra. This occurs because of the effects of Viagra on smooth muscle tissue in your body. That's how it helps with erection but it carries over to the digestive tract as well, unfortunately. Talk to your doctor about it!
Avatar n tn Yea it could be viagra but still in order to get an erection with viagra or no viagra, something sexual has to go thru his mind. Perhaps he thinks about sex or something sexual constantly. And there is nothing wrong with that. However, if he is not taking viagra, he shouldn't experience an erection once every hour but if he is taking viagra then yea he can. Either way, it doesn't matter. This is not a medical condition. He has a good and healthy penis for his age.
Avatar n tn Have you worked with a urologist first to rule out anything medical? Taking any other medications? How is your mental health? Common physical causes of erectile dysfunction include heart disease, diabetes, nerve damage and high blood pressure. Hormonal issues, such as low testosterone, can also affect your level of sexual desire, preventing you from getting an erection even with Viagra. I'd talk to your doctor.
Avatar m tn I'm 32 and suffer from Retinitis Pigmentosa. I recently visited my general practitioner to complain about ED (erectile difficulty). I'm in good health, have normal blood plessure, normal blood work so she wasn't exactly sure what the problem could be. She suggested taking Viagra tos ee if that "jump started" things. I mentioned to her that I had read somewhere that if you have Retinitis Pigmentosa, viagra (or other ED pills) are not recommended.
Avatar n tn How old is your husband? I presume he was using viagra or something like it the last 7 years. He might have to increase the dose, talk to the doc. Good Luck!
Avatar m tn Can viagra cause an increase in herpes outbreaks? I noticed since I started taking viagra more regularly I went from 3 to 4 outbreaks a year to already having 4 outbreaks already since January. Ive also been tested for HIV so I know thats not an issue and I protect myself while having sex. But I think there may be a correlation between using viagra and my outbreaks. Any ideas?
Avatar m tn //www.nhs.uk/news/medication/viagra-may-cause-visual-disturbance-in-some-men/. This article explains it. The study that made headlines was regarding mice and was exaggerated by the initial news source. The main take away is that it's important to use dosing guidelines and not go over the recommended dose and be under a doctor's prescription when taking Viagra. I don't discount that you are experiencing this phenomenon and I am sure it is concerning.
Avatar n tn If you were doing VIGOROUS rubbing of the penis just to reach orgasm and make your penis go down, then yes you probably dull the sensation in your penis. the sensation will come back if you stay away from masturbation for a few days or longer.

Avatar n tn There are studies that show the long term efficacy of these drugs. I'm not an expert, but I don't think they just stop working like that. I've been using Cialis for over a year with excellent results.
Avatar m tn Before deciding the treatment it is important to find out the cause which may be responsible for erectile dysfunction in your case. In most men of your age and since you were having regular erections earlier, the cause looks more like psychological. Other medical causes may be diabetes, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid conditions, poor circulation, low testosterone, depression, spinal cord and neurological causes. You can take Viagra and use the delay creams simultaneously.
