uroxatral

Avatar n tn What I found interesting, was that after looking at my favorite top 5, increase and decrease in libido was not even mentioned although they were quick to note side effects such as depression, vaginal dryness and legathy. Even the official website for Arimidex itself and the "largest known site for the most comprehensive list of side effects" doesn't touch libido...at all. Hmmm However, women taking this medication tell a different story.
Avatar n tn HCV treatment can take on a certain drama and it may not be working out well in his household. The women may also be somehow physically exposed to the medications. Put them all away in a secure place and encourage the women to support the therapy by keeping him company, seeing to his exercise and dietary needs, and empathizing with his fatigue. I think they'll be happier and healthier if they come out of the medication loop.
Avatar f tn The most common side effects are hot flashes and vaginal discharge. Some women experience irregular menstrual periods, headaches, fatigue, nausea and/or vomiting, vaginal dryness or itching, irritation of the skin around the vagina, and skin rash. As with menopause, not all women who take tamoxifen have these symptoms. Men who take tamoxifen may experience headaches, nausea and/or vomiting, skin rash, impotence, or a decrease in sexual interest.
Avatar f tn Most women have no lasting side effects from an epidural. Only about 2-3% of women have lasting side effects such as headaches and even less likely partial paralysis. The most common side effect of an epidural is a drop in moms BP. This can sometimes reduce fetal heart rate but usually isn't enough to cause any harm to mom or baby. If you go in and there are any concerns with baby's heart rate they may not allow an epidural at all.
Avatar f tn A problem is, testosterone varies a whole lot in both men and women, by the day, hour, week, etc. and even more in women than men, so the only true way to know if you had abnormally low levels would have been to test you a lot, not just twice. You did have the same levels twice, so it might be a problem. A question would be, how's your sexual desire? How's your stamina? How's your ability to build muscle? How's your energy levels?
Avatar f tn Headache, mood changes, abdominal pain, loss of libido, and vaginal dryness may be seen in few women using the implant. Few women may also have weight gain as one of its side effects. Few women may also develop ovarian cysts while on nexplanon. It is best to discuss the risks and benefits of any birth control method before starting to use it. It is best to have a frank discussion with your gynecologist about these side effects.
Avatar n tn Now that your bladder has recompensated, you might actually be able to empty using an alpha blocker such as Uroxatral or Flomax, but I would not recommend doing that in the long term as you are skating on the edge of decompensating again. I would recommend that you have a prostatectomy and then be followed for adequacy of emptying and urinary tract infections.
Avatar m tn I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?
486867 tn?1307139011 I thought he was doing really good because he barely had any side effects till about 2 or so weeks ago besides his occasional mood swings. They told us if the Clomid doesn't work they'll consider surgery for his varicocele so maybe they'll do the surgery which is what I wanted in the first place. I'm glad to hear that the side effects will go away. I felt kinda bad for him.
Avatar m tn Now I am 26 unmarried, Please let me know do mastarbuation have done any side effects to my is my sexual stamina.
Avatar f tn Chronic stomach upset, fatigue and a very loud ringing in my ears are the most annoying symptoms. Are these tramadol side effects?
Avatar f tn Just had a biopsy--awaiting results but, in the interim: enlarged prostate regardless of biopsy outcome. Flomax does not seem to be making an improvement in frequency of urination--does this have an indication that cancer is more likely? In other words, if nodule were benign would the Flomax be likely to work better? Does progressive increase in frequency indicate a higher chance of cancer?
Avatar f tn I wanted to know from women in their fifties and sixties if there have been any long term effects from having one removed. Like for instance early osteoporosis or early menopause. Things that the doctors might not of thought of on their own. I would also like to hear from women that haven't had any issues. Thank you so much and God Bless!
Avatar f tn If you go to chemocare.com you can read all the side effects of Tamoxifen. What you mention are all listed there. The weight gain no doubt is due to fluid retention which is one of the side effects. You might discuss changing drugs with your Oncologist as there are others available but keep in mind that they all have similar side effecfts even though you mjight not experience them to the same degree. Regards .....
451366 tn?1211304932 Memory problems are common side effects for the same reason and the close relation between GABA and glutamate, glutamate being involved in learning and memory. Other side effects more likely to happen in women are dizziness, tiredness, balance problems.
Avatar m tn bacterial infections! So I started researching side effects to Adderall and after much digging around I finally came across a post in a woman's forum regarding a common STD which is a bacterial infection and the women were discussing Adderall. Sure enough, there were tons of ladies complaining that they have had an increase in all that is bacterial infections since taking the medicine. It seems to be linked, Bacterial Infections and Adderall.
Avatar n tn I took clomid CD5-9 for the first time this month too, and I'm CD12 today. No side effects whatsoever...so far, at least! But I have heard some of the other women on here say they've experienced cramping and hot flashes. I think those are the two most common side effects. Good luck to you!!!
Avatar m tn Unfortunately, there is a group of patients with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis-chronic pelvic pain symdrome. There patients have no bacteria in the prostate but have pain, often in the area between the testicles and rectum, plus the pain with ejaculation and sometines urinating symptoms. We don't know what triggers this problem and there is no cure. Uroxatral is an excellent option and you have gotten at least a partial response-- good.
Avatar m tn I saw cases (on Internet) that it may erupt suddenly into grade 4 with every next infusion (some scary pics there). Anybody experienced really bad skin side effects with Doxil? Would it go away completely after chemo finishes? Anyone had positive effects from topical steroids? I would try them first before --if they help-- before other options. I am seeing my oncologist next week, after infusion #4 and obviously want to complete this chemo cycle with no interruption.
Avatar n tn Shortly after I started the drug, I started having hot flashes and bad leg cramps. My doctor then prescribed Effexor for those side effects. I started at 37.5 mg and worked up to 75mg which I took for 5 years. A month ago he changed my prescription to 37.5 mg and said to stop once the medicine ran out. I took my last pill 3 days ago. I feel horrible. I have nausea, dizziness, a swoshing feeling when I turn my head from side to side and just feel bad overall. I have been cranky and moody.
Avatar f tn Some women simply can't orgasm through intercourse at all, others can but so long as there's some clitoral stimulation from her partner, herself, or even a vibrator. I also find it's easier if things are better than usual outside the bedroom and I can completely lose myself in the moment because of it. I don't know what the spasms and panting are, though. That...is different. I would consider seeing a doctor.
Avatar f tn Yes, I took the shots for 2 years more than ten years ago. It apparently DID build bone but after a decade+ I am having several of the "possible side effects" that I had to sign off on, and I am wondering if there is anyone else in this community who finished the treatment and has had a long enough time frame SINCE to see any long term side effects. Doctors know NOTHING about these drugs, so I thought I'd try to get some anecdotal information from others who used FORTEO.
1106767 tn?1315050974 I have taken it for two months already and the for the first month I didnt get any side effects. But for the second month I had alot of side effects. I was very nauseous and had a stomach ach. also had some digestive problems. And a head ach. I usually had them all at the same time. Luckely they only stayed for a few days. I am on cd 15 now and I believe they ended on cd 11 or 12. I have heard other people have hot flashes. Clomid so far has not worked for me as far as ovulation. So good luck!
Avatar f tn Hypothetically, androgen treatment would relieve clinical symptoms and reduce risks of osteoporosis in affected women. In younger women, oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) might have benefit; particularly an OCP with a relatively androgenic progestin component. However, OCPs are also known to suppress free testosterone. Few clinical trials have examined the efficacy or safety of testosterone therapy in women.
Avatar f tn I think tx effects everyone differently. As you have I would dicuss this not only with the doctor tx for hep, but also your ob/gyn. Many thinks can effect your cycle, Age, meds, etc. I was very sick when i first started tx, and then it stopped, I actually cant remember the last period I got, Again, I would discuss this with both your tx doctor and your ob/gyn.
