urine test after ivf

(, i did a urine test an hour ago and gave me negative, i wander if this is normal or is this an accurate result?

i just had ivf and wanted to know could i do home test i have test booked 11th july but dont want to wait

I've proceeded with 3 IUIs and 2 IVFs. After the trigger shot for one IUI and one IVF I tried to "test out" the hCG using pregnancy testing strips, 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after the injections. I used a different brand of hCG for IUI and IVF. All test strips were negative. I used them correctly, and they were purchased for the "test-out." I have endometriosis, autoimmune disease that attacks my adrenals, ovaries and reproductive cells (killer-cells).

i,m back at leeds on the 28th and i have to take my first urine of that morning with me but according to my ivf diary it doesnt say anything about a blood test so i really dont know xx

today i did a test on urine and blood it said BFN feeling sad today make 7 days since a 5 day blast tranfer some people say it to early to test what u all think

Dear Sir/Madam, We have 22 months old twin son & daughter who are the IVF babies. My wife had LMP 12.02.2017 & subsequently did the urine test/USG/TVS on 18.03.2017. On 19.03.2017 she took Mifesterone 1 tab & Misoprostol 2 tabs on 20.03.2017. Thereafter, she administered Misoprostol 2 tabs vaginally on 21.03.2017 (today at 8 am) but she is still waiting to bleed. ) Good luck, in your shoes I might test with first-morning urine the day of the blood test, but not sooner. That way, if the home test is negative, you don't have long to wait for the blood test to tell you if you're really pregnant or not. Take care.

I had donor eggs, and tested 8 days after transfer (blood test) and it showed negative. 10 days after transfer, a urine test showed positive. 11 days after transfer, blood test showed positive too. 5 to 6 days after transfer sounds pretty optimistic.

I had IVF in June. They did a pregnacy test 11 days after tranferring 3 embryos. The test was negative (hcg <1.00). They had me stop all meds, and my period did come within 1 week (very different from any other). A week after the test, I began to have so many pregnacy symptoms. I have 4 children so I am very aware of the changes my body goes through during pregnacy. All of these things were happening to me.

Has anyone ever found pregnant after negative HPT(Urine test) and negative blood test?

It's kind of strange ur not having a BETA test(blood)...I'm sure they will do one at 2weeks that's the protocol...a urine test isn't that accurate as a BETA test...the Beta let's u know how the embryo is doing,if it's growing....usually at 2weeks from the transfer the first one is done then after 2 days another is done...to see ur embryos growth... 2WW is loooooooong!!!...I've been there now I'm 28pt...good luck ladies!!!

I also had laparoscopy 2 years ago, because of endometriosis. However, didn't get this peeing problem. So, you didn't take any meds for the problem? I do have that horrible burning sensation when I pee...near the end. My doc didn't test my urine...since he gave me a strict 5 day bed rest..I'm on day 3....but I have a horrible lower pain and the constant peeing sensation...I feel bloated. My doc prescribed these meds and said that if it doesn't go away in 2 days to call back.

t be till aug 6 and 8. i had an experience before on my 2nd ivf cycle when after my ist hcg lab result, doctor told me it was positive and she even congratulated me. who wouldn't be happy? started telling family and close friends. but after the 2nd lab, it didn't go up as expected which i believe should be doubled and nurse told me it could be negative. i was really disappointed with the medical staff especially with the doctor. but with your hcg being 45.

on 1/5/08 I went to clinic for pregnancy test with sample .The clinic people says that there is slight positive. Hence I have to take test blood and urine again on day after tommorrow . Is it possible to come positive result at this stage. My last LMP is on 27.3.08.

t know what kind of pregnancy test they did at your doctors office. May be your urine so dilute that the test could not detect HCG. Good luck!

They do so because that is the first day a blood test will tell them yes or no with certainty that the result can be trusted. You can try to second-guess them with home pregnancy tests all you want, but a urine test is not accurate as early as a blood test, and -- remember this part? -- doctors don't schedule the blood test until day 14 because they don't think a test on day 10, 11, 12 or 13 will be reliable. did u use a 5 day early test or regular test some test need more time

Hence to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Your levels may not be high enough yet. I know I was PG after my 1st IVF cycle. They did the blood test it was positive. I thought it would be great to see that on the stick so I did a HPT and it was Negative. But then a week later got my BFP on a stick. So, just because the stick says neg does not mean it is neg. All the AF signs can also be PG signs or can be caused by the progesterone. We have to trust in our Drs and that they know what they are doing.

I actually had the Essure coils placed and just recently went through IVF. I have had a positive urine pregnancy test, and am having a serum HCG on 5-13-09. The placement of the Essure coils was done in the office. They numbed my cervix and gave me Valium prior to the procedure. I had cramping during the insert, but it was brief.
