Avatar n tn hi there, i just had a miscarriage in august 2007. i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
Avatar n tn I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
Avatar m tn ve been on norg-eth estra tri (I think the generic of Trinessa? Trisprintec? So many names for birth controls...) for years now, but have had issues with breakthrough bleeding as of the last few months. Thus, my doctor, who is also my GYN, prescribed a different brand. On Sunday the 21st of December I began Lomedia Fe with iron pills for the last few days of my AF. Now, I'm also on the generic of Lamictal, which is Lamotrigine.
Avatar n tn I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday. It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
Avatar m tn My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar f tn Im due November 1st and really debating if i should get that or get back on my trinessa pills. Not planning on getting pregnant for a few more years or at all after this baby.
Avatar f tn I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn t have to deal with the pressure in my head. I went to the doctor yesterday. He is now treating me for Temporomandibular Joint Syndorme and has me taking 600mg of ibuprofen every six hours. After researching TMJ, I don’t feel like it’s what I have, but my doctor told me we just have to try to figure out the most common thing that it could be. He suggested I call my dentist, who I saw a little more than two months ago when I had my first cavity filled.
Avatar f tn ve been reading many old posts on here and just wanted to ask this question... I was originally on TriNessa and have not taken it for approximately two months now. the day before yesterday, after Intercourse with my husband i noticed some light brown spotting when cleaning up. Yesterday I didn't have any spotting and today it is a darker brown. I have never had this spotting before. My period isn't due until the end of the month.... The most common question I found here is...
Avatar f tn Cysts are so common in premenopausal women, most resolve on their own either by bursting or reabsorbing themselves. Is the Trinessa a type of birth control? That would be my suggestion at this point, however I am not a doctor. The theory behind birth control, is that it stops the ovaries from producing cysts. I think it is a good idea to get checked by your own doc when you go home for Thanksgiving break. Im sure that will make you feel better.
18026835 tn?1462471175 I'm 21 years old and have been on Trinessa for about 2 months. With the first month, my period was scheduled to start halfway through my pill cycle and instead I just spotted a little. And today I am spotting again and I'm not supposed to start for another 3 weeks. I'm very nervous and I don't want to be pregnant since it won't be my fiancée's and I don't want to deal with a baby from that awful situation....
Avatar f tn And also will our little mishap have caused us to get of again? She is also currently taking cephalexin for her cold and trinessa for birth control.... please help with any information you might have, thanks...
Avatar n tn I started my period(bleeding) around the 25 or 27th of may. I started taking Trinessa on the 10th of may. I have been having protected sex for a while now(even though we are both tested). But I had unprotected sex 3 times last night, 2 times were pullouts and the 3rd time was not. Within a period of 2-3 hours. Could i get pregnant? I am not stupid and know about pre-*** and that the best way to avoid pregnancy is to practice abstinence but i messed up and need some advice asap.
Avatar f tn Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?
Avatar f tn My insurance company only pays for generic drugs when available as first option, however Cymbalta does not come in generic form from what I understand because I always buy generics but have never rec'd Cymbalta in generic form.
456874 tn?1218139741 My insurance will only cover for the generic of Yasmin-does anyone know if it is as effective?
Avatar m tn I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation. I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
Avatar f tn If so, you could check in with the doctor, or a pharmacist, or just the FAQs questions for Trinessa. If they really are just placebos or vitamins [in some bcps, the five "break" pills are just iron tablets] and not progesterone, they shouldn't affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills.
Avatar f tn Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
Avatar f tn Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.
Avatar f tn Im taking TriNessa birth control and i was just wondering if the pills(or birth control pills in general) can make you have an extremely light periods or make you only have spotting or no period at all? my last period was really light and normally my periods are extremely heavy and have been till my last couple of periods. this time, i just spotted a bit and there's light blood when i wipe when going to the restroom maybe its too soon to tell but its worrying me just a lil.
Avatar n tn BEFORE I STARTED MY PERIOD I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX AND THEN ONE TIME RIGHT BEFORE MY PERIOD BUT THAT TIME I TOOK THE MOURNING AFTER PILL. MY QUESTION IS MY PERIOD WAS REALLLLLLY HEAVY I BLEED ALOT, NOW OUT OF NOWHERE I GOT BROWN DISCHARGE WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? CAN I BE PREGNAT AGAIN?
Avatar f tn There is a very high risk of pregnancy .It is best to wait for a month or so for your periods to regularize and then start a suitable birth control method. A visit to a gynecologist for discussion on the most appropriate method will be helpful. If you do not get your periods in a week or so it is suggested to take up pregnancy test. A urine/blood test for determining HCG levels may be done. This is only an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination.
Avatar f tn s period, but in addition to that, the fluctuating hormones of someone with PCOS is an even bigger factor. One of my doctors tracking me for diabetes (which is a common symptom of PCOS) placed me on Metformin and that kept me regular. Birth control is another useful option to have regular periods. My favorite birth control pill were the Trinessa 28s. They were super gentle on my body and even kept the acne at bay much better than other pills I tried in the past.
Avatar f tn I am currently only on a BCP, Trinessa. comparted ota 2008 U/S the larger has grown a lot and hte smaller fibroid is new. Does this report look as though surgery to remove may be an option? I am sick of feeling crappy 80% of the time.
