Avatar f tn I have a similar situation, but I am not worried about getting pregnant at this time. I am on my first month of Trinessa Low. I am on day 2 of the placebo pills. I am thinking of only taking 5 placebo pills the next two months in hopes that my period will come a few days early in August (so I can be blood free on my vacation). I am also playing with the idea of only taking 6 of the lowest dose of pills the first week for the next cycle.
Avatar f tn t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.
Avatar f tn But I have visual migraines that cause me to. E on a low estrogen kind of birth control, so it was that, pill, arm implant, or iud. I did the pill for a while, but I'm not responsible enough to take it daily at the same time.

Avatar f tn After this next test (draw is on Aug 2nd), if my FT3 comes back low [like the June test], then I will ask to either up my dose of WP one more time OR ask for them to compound my NDT meds. My practitioner is aware we need to maintain my levels in the interim until my endo appointment.

Since starting trinessa however the following has been noted; A return of symptomatic PVC's and effective loss of burden control Metoprolol observed at home. Parasthesia in very specific regions well established as inmervated by cranial nerves, particuarly around the trigeminal. Has anyone ever heard of these before?
Avatar n tn I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
Avatar m tn My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar n tn I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. I originally went on birth control because my periods are so irregular and to protect myself against pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test two days ago just to settle my nerves and it came back negative. I still have not gotten it though.
Avatar f tn I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn The next week, I met with my doctor again, he finally convinced me to start taking the medicine. The Xanax didn’t work; he gave me a low dose of .25. I stopped taking the Xanax but continued with the Celexa. I met with the psychologist. We had the normal intake session. One week later, I was still feeling bad. I was having pressure headaches, crying, dizziness, and some nausea. Within the first 10 minutes of my session, the psychologist told me that she didn’t think I had anxiety.
Avatar f tn ve been reading many old posts on here and just wanted to ask this question... I was originally on TriNessa and have not taken it for approximately two months now. the day before yesterday, after Intercourse with my husband i noticed some light brown spotting when cleaning up. Yesterday I didn't have any spotting and today it is a darker brown. I have never had this spotting before. My period isn't due until the end of the month.... The most common question I found here is...
Avatar f tn Cysts are so common in premenopausal women, most resolve on their own either by bursting or reabsorbing themselves. Is the Trinessa a type of birth control? That would be my suggestion at this point, however I am not a doctor. The theory behind birth control, is that it stops the ovaries from producing cysts. I think it is a good idea to get checked by your own doc when you go home for Thanksgiving break. Im sure that will make you feel better.
18026835 tn?1462471175 I'm 21 years old and have been on Trinessa for about 2 months. With the first month, my period was scheduled to start halfway through my pill cycle and instead I just spotted a little. And today I am spotting again and I'm not supposed to start for another 3 weeks. I'm very nervous and I don't want to be pregnant since it won't be my fiancée's and I don't want to deal with a baby from that awful situation....
975514 tn?1324997938 org, that describes the benefits of low dose Naltrexone [LDN]). It is also thought to act by restoration of the body's normal production of endorphins, and this is thought to be the major therapeutic action of LDN. Although Naltrexone is an FDA approved drug, LDN has not yet been approved by the FDA. Some patients apparently benefit from LDN, and there is a list of testimonials. There are, however, some cautionary declarations about LDN: 1.
Avatar f tn It's supposed to divert your immune system away from the bacteria. The thinking is that your body's immune response to the bacteria is what is causing your symptoms and that it is fighting a losing battle. It's a new treatment they say it has great success. It's pretty much the opposite of how we have been fighting the disease. However, I'm leary of essentially turning off my immune system towards the bacteria. Anyone try this with success?
