I have a similar situation, but I am not worried about getting pregnant at this time. I am on my first month of Trinessa Low. I am on day 2 of the placebo pills. I am thinking of only taking 5 placebo pills the next two months in hopes that my period will come a few days early in August (so I can be blood free on my vacation). I am also playing with the idea of only taking 6 of the lowest dose of pills the first week for the next cycle.
t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.
But I have visual migraines that cause me to. E on a low estrogen kind of birth control, so it was that, pill, arm implant, or iud. I did the pill for a while, but I'm not responsible enough to take it daily at the same time.

I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. My birth control
I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. Cysts are so common in premenopausal women, most resolve on their own either by bursting or reabsorbing themselves. Is the Trinessa a type of birth control? That would be my suggestion at this point, however I am not a doctor. The theory behind birth control, is that it stops the ovaries from producing cysts. I think it is a good idea to get checked by your own doc when you go home for Thanksgiving break. Im sure that will make you feel better.
It's supposed to divert your immune system away from the bacteria. The thinking is that your body's immune response to the bacteria is what is causing your symptoms and that it is fighting a losing battle. It's a new treatment they say it has great success. It's pretty much the opposite of how we have been fighting the disease. However, I'm leary of essentially turning off my immune system towards the bacteria. Anyone try this with success?
