I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
A month ago, I went to the doctor up at school (I am 20 and attend a university) and the doctor felt my ovaries and said they felt fine; she said the pain was probably still from the ruptures and to just take ibuprofen (it doesn't help). Could the pain still be from the ruptures or is something else going on? Sometime the pain is severe enough to make me just sit still for a couple minutes until it goes away... the pain also seems to wrap around to my lower back at times.
Well I took the two to make up for missing them along with the new pack with the white pills and have had my period ever since, going on 7 days with cramping and heavy bleeding, but the bleeding has since slowed yesterday. The cramping is different than what I have felt before, not constant. Comes and goes. Should I be alarmed, call my doctor?
Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?

Yesterday I didn't have any spotting and today it is a darker brown. I have never had this spotting before. My period isn't due until the end of the month.... I'm 24 years old. Been on birth control since 9th grade. Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.
I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... Now I just want to know how the name brand of ortho tri cyclen really looks like, if anyone can provide a pic would be very helpful ...... Please I don't need anyone making fun of me here so for anyone that thinks this is just too stupid please don't post anything here ...
Hey, i have pcos and therefore irregular periods. I didn't had my period for about 2 months and then i took meprate tablet for 5 days 2 tablets a day and it's been 7 days i didn't had my periods. Around one month or one half month before my boyfriend and i casually had orals. Now I'm worried. I don't know what to do. Please help.
I am on Trinessa birth control pills. I was wondering if I could use my birth control pills to start my period about a week early, only because my boy friend is coming home from the military the week that I am supposed to start my period and I don't really want this to happen. Any suggestions?
Everyone is different, but I'd just like to say I did the depo shot and it was terrible. A lot of women tell me they've had a similar experience. Talk to your Dr, but I dont suggest it!
Im scared there is something wrong but Im only 15 and scared to death of the gyno. I wont go unless I have to. Im on Trinessa birth control and accidently missed two pills in a row a week after I had sex with my boyfriend. We used a condom and I had taken my pills before sex. I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
So, the next plan of action was for me to discontinue the use of the TriNessa and the Celexa. After one day of discontinue use, I felt better. I was still having pressure headaches, just not as severe. I was still dizzy, but I could actually make it through a day of work, and I wasn’t crying anymore.
Now it has been almost two weeks of not being on any medication. I don’t know if I am having lingering effects from the pill but I am still having daily pressure in my head and dizziness.
I am 29 yrs old, average weight, in fair health, have never been pregnant, and started my period at age 11. I have never been diagnosed with PCOS, STD, or endometriosis, but I have had A LOT of miscellaneous reproductive organ related issues and lots of migraines.
Three months ago I was switched by my OBGYN to the oral contraceptive pill Loestrin ( a combination of norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol).
