Avatar m tn I have Triamcinolone Eucerin Cream. I need to be able to wash it off my hands. Does anyone know what makes it salulable? What kind of soap?
Avatar n tn re asking a question or not, but if you are, my husband used Atarax (prescription) to help with the rash. He also used Eucerin body wash in the shower, used cool water and patted his skin dry, and used Eucerin moisturizer after the shower. He used Triamcinolone ointment (prescription) on the rash as well. For nausea, he used Zofran (prescription) and drank ginger tea or ate raw ginger.
1833444 tn?1325557062 Of course it's probably best to ask your doctor, but my husband's prescription for Hydroxyzine is 2 tablets, so he takes it "as needed" and when he is having an especially tough time with itching interfering with sleeping, he takes it before he goes to sleep. I have heard some people on this forum say that ice packs, standing in front of the open freezer door, standing outside for a minute or two, keeping your skin lotioned up, and drinking lots of water helps.
Avatar f tn We also used tea tree oil (available over the counter at a pharmacy) on the blisters. He used Eucerin body wash in the shower and Eucerin lotion after the shower. Sometimes it helped for him to stand in front of the open freezer door or stand outside in the cool night air.
2114131 tn?1399240871 From what im reading a lot of people develop this rash, and do NOT have to stop treatment.Does anybody have any advice for me how to deal with this rash. Can i for instance use benedryl? Are there other things i can do?What is the difference between a massive allergic reaction and a ''normal''rash that goes with this treatment?
1102290 tn?1278499953 Did anyone break out with random cysts all over their body? They are appearing on his rear (cheeks) under his arm and a few other scattered. They are painful and the size of dimes. I'm going to call his NP tomorrow, but I was wondering what you all thought too. Thanks again!
Avatar m tn After six days, I stopped using the products entirely. I have been rinsing my face with water and drenching it in Eucerin several times a day. Eucerin is the ONLY product that does not sting. I sometimes use unscented glycerin soap. Six weeks later, I see no improvement. My skin is so tight dry, it feels like it's in shrink wrap. It flakes every day. My eyes are swollen and flaky. Everything stings, even touch. What can I do for real relief? How long will this last?
Avatar m tn During treatment, my husband took Atarax and used Triamcinolone ointment for the rash. His doc also suggested Eucerin cream and Eucerin body wash, to keep the skin moisturized. We used tea tree oil on the few blisters that formed. Sometimes he put ice on areas that were really bothering him, or stood outside without a shirt on at night. Sometimes it was not just the stinging, itching, and redness of the rash, but also the tingling, twitching/jumping/crawling skin feeling that bothered him.
250701 tn?1320974765 He also uses Eucerin body wash in the shower and Eucerin cream after the shower. When he had blisters on his back due to the rash, we put tea tree oil on them. I have also heard people say that pressing the itchy area up against a cold surface, stepping outside, standing in front of a fan, and putting ice on it helps. If I remember correctly from your previous posts, you are almost finished with the Incivek. Hopefully the rash will improve when you're done with that med.
Avatar m tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be seborrheic dermatitis. It is usually caused by overgrowth of Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates and is aggravated by sweating and humidity. The rash is characterized by red and scaly rash to form on the oily areas on the face like nose and forehead.
720656 tn?1311040235 t agree with me so I used the Eucerin Calming Cream and/or Aveeno oatmeal lotion. I also took a lot of baths with the Aveeno oatmeal powder. You should start to notice a gradual improvement the longer you are off meds. I noticed that I had the cracks behind my ears for several months after treatment ended but the rash itself went away quite quickly (thank goodness). I remember wanting to scratch my skin off too, just as you said. Hang in there...it will get better.
Avatar f tn My six year old has been diagnosed with chronic urticaria. She has been suffering for 7 months now. We have seen 2 allergists and had skin testing done. It was determined that she is allergic to dust mites only. She was placed on Zyrtec 1mL/mg, 5 mL q daily. This helped but did not completly get rid of the urticaria. About a month ago she developed an itchy rash on her knees, elbows and anterior wrists. At the time they were just sporadic bumps.
Avatar f tn My mom refuses to let me use them and I apply aloe gel and eucerin instead. at this rate, its still spreading, just slowly. every website i go to says it is chronic or reoccurring, does that mean it will never go away?
Avatar f tn My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.
3202871 tn?1352129777 My husband used Eucerin body wash in the shower, Eucerin cream after the shower, and tea tree oil on blisters. He took Hydroxyzine and also had a prescription for Triamcinolone ointment. The Incivek rash began about mid way through week 2 and lasted until the end of the 12 weeks on Incivek. When he finished Incivek, it gradually improved, although he had some strange skin tingles and rash-like problems for awhile still.
1815939 tn?1377991799 Eucerin cream and Eucerin body wash We put tea tree oil (available over the counter in drug stores) on the blisters that developed with the rash when it was at it's worst. In comparing his rash to the pictures of the Inc rash, I would say that his was also moderate. What we found was that the rash started on one part of his body, got bad there, and then moved to another part of his body, got bad there, and then moved again.
Avatar f tn Hi there... some here have mentioned having good results from the steroid ointment...Triamcinolone. Hope that helps..
Avatar m tn I have been using eucerin on a salylic acid burn on my penis shaft. It has made the skin have a flaky melanin less scab over the wound since I started applying eucerin 2 weeks ago. I keep thinking it will peel off but it has not. Should I continue using the eucerin? The skin looks much more hydrated but I am just confused why eucerin caused a scab to form over my skin?
Avatar m tn Just started treatment , it will be 2 weeks on Friday, Friday will be my third shot. I don't start the third drug till a month into treatment. So far so good. I've been dealing with thrush for the last 2 years but finally got diagnosed and am on a anti fungal losenge. Feeling much better. The itching is the worst thing but I took an alergy tab this morning and am feeling better. Just wondering how bad a the sid e effects of the incivek, I think thats my next drug.
Avatar m tn It was considered to be a moderate rash, but it was definitely very, very itchy and kept him from being able to sleep. She told him to use Eucerin cream, then apply Triamcinolone ointment (prescription), and take Hydroxizine (prescription) as needed 1-2 every six hours. We also put tea tree oil on the blisters and it seemed to soothe them. They did not break open. The rash has settled down, and he is in Week 6 now. I agree with hrsepwerguy.
Avatar m tn Are there ANY kind of recommended lotions I could use that might lessen or eliminate this problem? My doctor told me of a few (Eucerin, Corel, Aveeno) and I have tried them and they've only made it worse or done nothing at all. Any key ingredients I should look out for?
Avatar f tn No rash on back. None on face, neck, arms, upper torso (except for what appears to be 3 isolated, very small areas; none on hands, feet, or below knee. The creams I've been using haven't worked, and I've been using them for over 24 hours.
8739291 tn?1403198176 My eczema is starting to flare with the hot weather coming, any tips?
Avatar f tn I am nauseated even with the ZOFRAN, tried Hydrocodone, Tramadol, Tylenol and of course not all at the same time. Using ice packs to no avail. I already have rash from the neck down on 70% of that skin and cannot believe I can survive this treatment for 48 weeks...... suggestions PLEASE!!! I am ready to throw in the towel!
