I have been avoiding the mentioned things and also have seen two doctors. It is not easy or staph. The doctor told me to keep using mentax and vanicream 60 and come back in four weeks. The cracks have healed but it is dry flaky and red all around my mouth. It is like psorisis that some people get on their elbows but not as thick. I am now using the mentax and then putting cocoa butter on top. Any suggestions?
I am in my early 40's and I have been using various hydrocortisone creams for my face for about 10 years at the recommendation of 2-3 dermatologists for eczema. My face is what is the issue. It becomes red, itches, often stings when in the shower. More noticeable burning during sweating and exercise. Stress seems to flare it up too.

I saw the dermatologist today and he said that Oxistat has dried up my skin. He told me to apply Vanicream on the affected areas. However, I still feel that my skin is very loose right now. Does the dry skin cause the skin to become loose? and will Vanicream restore the skin back to the original (not loose)?

Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
And some hydrocortisone when absolutely necessary. Try Cetaphil, Eucerin, AmLactin, Vanicream.
Hello so a couple months ago I tried combatting my acne with some cream the dermatologist gave me and it ended up drying my skin. I began to use vanicream as a moisturizer after that and my face dryness was controllable. Over time it got worse and now I over washed my face and it just looks a little irritated and on my left side if my cheek by my eye there is a burning feeling. My skin doesn't look dry and is not flaky. I am wondering if my skin is dehydrated or not?
) But how serious is an allergic reaction to triamcinolone? Or is it the combination of lidocaine and triamcinolone that caused the mess?
Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
Try VaniCream and Petroleum Jelly. My daughter has eczema and this has helped her. She is now 2 1/2 years old.
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
Hi, i have a dry red area on the head of my penis. I'm not circumcised.
It has been like this for maybe 4mths and was probably caused by not using a condom.
In the past i treated it with Canestan cream and it stopped it drying out but was occasionally itchy.
It never quit so i saw a doctor who put me on some tablets (sorry don't have name) and i had to apply triamcinolone acetonide lotion twice a day after showering.
I was in the same situation you are in I never ever had pimples and broke out like crazy around 3/4 months pregnant...so my solution is vanicream bar soap...it's about 5 dollars for 1 bar...but it cleared my skin up in a few days seriously haven't had pimples since. It's all natural safe bar soap free of everything...I got mine at walgreens in the face wash area...CVS or rite Aid might have it..
You could be chemical sensitive. There are chemical free hair care products. Vanicream Free and Clear has shampoos and conditioners and other hair care products that you could try an dare chemical free. But always remember, before trying any shampoo, always do a test spot first. In cosmotology, I was taught to always do a check test, as you, and even your customer, may not even know they have an allergy to any ingrediant you may be using.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
I am giving her daily baths and putting vaseline immediately afterwards to mosturize but that does not seem to help. I have tried aquarphor, vanicream and elta but she does not like anything on her skin -- makes her uncomfortable and she cries. I am using protopic and also have used flucinoclone acetonide ointment - USP, 0.025%. My daughter has seasonal and food allergies and is on antihistime during the day (Xzyal) and night (hydroxine) which helps with some of the itchiness.
What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
I used some gloves (Nitrile Exam Gloves) and i had a bad irritation because of that. I stoped used the gloves anymore and I went to the doctor. He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. 5%w/v, Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%w/v, Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%w/v. The Muco-Aid is a bottle of liquid lotion, which weigh around 8g. I actually used few times in the window period of 12 weeks. Probably few days before testing too, even a day before testing. I cannot remember the exactly when did I put the lotion in my mouth for ulcers.
I have read somewhere that steroid might delay antibodies production of HIV making the test result not accurate. In this case is Triamcinolone Acetonide.
cerave, vanicream, aquaphor, or vaseline. The weeping looks like tiny droplets of liquid, and sometimes the skin or lips may be raised or have tiny little bumps. I've been to many dermatologists and nothing seems to be really effective. I've tried protopic and even elidel because I don't want to use steroids on my face. I stopped using elidel because I developed cold sores on the areas around my mouth that I put the elidel on.
If you have a walgreens or something like that let me tell there is a bar soap called vanicream and it is amazing it is a great soap for you and has nothing bad in it at all free of everything and my face was so bad like my chin was omg and I never ever got pimples and I started using this bar and all of it went away...
