Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
Recently they have flared back up again and have become quite uncomfortable. I have a Nyastin/Triamcinolone acetonide ointment that expired in November, would it be safe to use this or should I go back to the doctor for another prescription? Over the counter medicine has never worked for me.
Also, is it normal for a 20 year old to have hemorrhoids?
so i called pharmacist and asked if nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream was ok to use and the pharmacist said yes.. so i used it for about three weeks and it still the same. what should i do?

I get bad break outs my doctor said some pregnant people break out bad so he gave me Triamcinolone to put on everyday and it's not as bad as it use to be just ask your doctor
, I went to an InstaCare here and a physician (Internal Medicine) prescribed a 5 day course of Prednisone 40 mg with Atarax 25 mg. I also took a Zyrtec once a day. These meds never resolved the sunburn like sensation over the affected areas. Never really getting the rash handled. In January of this year, I saw my doctor (Internal Medicine) and he suggested some blood tests checking my vitamin levels. All but one of the tests came back in the normal range.
) But how serious is an allergic reaction to triamcinolone? Or is it the combination of lidocaine and triamcinolone that caused the mess?
hi, i have rashes under my armpit, i had it over for a year, i tried medicine cream called triamcinolone Acetonide. i been using it til now, but the rashes are still there, but the irritation was not as bad as before, . i stopped using deodorant, i had two rash spots then i used the medicine then those two went away, but new one occurs at someplace else, like on my lower arm, i want to know how to get rid of these rashes, and i wonder if this is a symptom of hepatitis b?
shots,Anastrozole 1 mg,and medicine from the doctor for itching and dry skin, plus a cream or lotion they put on her alot. I compared medication she was on before this itching started and
what she's on currently.....not much difference,just more pain meds,asprin,

Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
I tried using moisturizers to control this but they only helped a little. I went to my primary-care physician and she prescribed me steroid (triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient.
Ms. Hearn taking sleep medicine is unadvisable at our age. Nutritious food is best sleep medicine taken in the morning when you rise with a spark of sunshine in your eyes. The purpose of sleep is to remove toxins accumulated in brain during last waking hours of the immediate day before. Hot (warm) bath at bedtime will ease one into restful sleep. The warmth of a mate in bed is also sleep enhancing. Give us some feedback.
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
Hi, i have a dry red area on the head of my penis. I'm not circumcised.
It has been like this for maybe 4mths and was probably caused by not using a condom.
In the past i treated it with Canestan cream and it stopped it drying out but was occasionally itchy.
It never quit so i saw a doctor who put me on some tablets (sorry don't have name) and i had to apply triamcinolone acetonide lotion twice a day after showering.
Do not apply triamcinolone as tighntess of the throat means either sore throat or an allergic reaction to the medicine. Avoid using any lotions and creams over the skin for the meantime. Wash it with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat it dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves.If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.
My husband is suffering for severe burning sensation from jock itch...but not sure if it is really a jock itch since 2 weeks.Red raches has faded but the burning hasn't gone yet.He can't sleep whole day and night.He is using Triamcinolone cream usp,0.5% and also cleaning with ice water and also using moisturiser.He is suffering so much....please help.
I recently noticed I had a small razor-burn like bump on my bikini area, and some red bumps on the rear, though they weren't like my usual razor-burns. Everything was on outer areas only. I found out my boyfriend cheated on me with multiple people, got tested for STDs, and came back negative for everything. It's been about a month and the bumps did not spread, hurt, blister, etc. They look like pimples but with nothing inside them- just raised skin.
I tried ketoconazole, panoxyl, triamcinolone, fluticasone, manuka honey, tea tree oil, cold pressed coconut oil, witch hazel but none worked.
what is the cause and what is the cure?

I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
I've had this rash for a while now it only itches when i touch it or at random times. I put some itch medicine on it and it works but i rather it just go away. i don't know if the rash caused it but today in the morning my whole body felt weak it only happeed today though, i've been eating alot lately, though i think it's normal for me. I just want to know if something's wrong with me.
You may want to use Xibrom or Nevanac but Acular works as well. Triamcinolone injections cause cataracts and glaucoma so you must be watched closely for a while.
Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
