Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
moreover, can i protect my eyes by any means. I have heard that LCD monitors harm less to the eyes as compared to CRT monitors. is that true? Can you suggest any specific food that can improve the vision of somehow protect it.
I am noticing a thin transparent shade/stripe before my computer (LCD monitor). This is observed only before my PC, and otherwise it is not seen. I am thinking it is due to LCD monitor issues. Should I concern about this?

I did have an accident on Tuesday where my right eye got inches away from the full blast of an LCD projector beam. It started getting spotty and by Friday afternoon both eyes were cloudy. At 3am on Saturday I woke up to have my vision completely blurry after about 4 inches. I've been to two opthalmologists who have found nothing wrong. Tomorrow I'm having an MRI and another exam. Everyone says they've never heard anything like this. I just want my vision back.
I'm not able to stand looking to a LCD or Plasma TV for more than a few seconds without having migraines. If I stand for a few minutes then I have migraines, begin to feel weaker, to have some heart pain, difficulty to sleep, and sometimes my fingers begin to shudder randomly. Moreover, I begin to have difficulties in rationalize correctly, or even to do simple math or logic operations.
I have headaches with CRT monitors operating at frequencies below 100 Hz.
Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
Both problems cause eye strain which leads to stress which can lead to other problems. Sell it and buy a LCD screen and keep using the drops until your condition improves. Also, make it a priority to get 8-9 hours of sleep each night (even the weekends!).
Note: An LCD screen's refresh rate does not cause eye strain because the pixels stay illuminated until the next frame is loaded. It doesn't rock because the pixels are hardwired into the screen.
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
Hi, i have a dry red area on the head of my penis. I'm not circumcised.
It has been like this for maybe 4mths and was probably caused by not using a condom.
In the past i treated it with Canestan cream and it stopped it drying out but was occasionally itchy.
It never quit so i saw a doctor who put me on some tablets (sorry don't have name) and i had to apply triamcinolone acetonide lotion twice a day after showering.
I have good eye sight in both eyes, and do now strain them. I have a large computer LCD/TFT made by SHARP, it was not a cheap monitor. I work on a PC around 6-7 hours per day with breaks every 2-3 hours.
Can you give me some advice please.

My father is 79 years old and has had multiple heart attacks beginning approximately 15 years ago when he was airlifted to the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Within the last 10-12 years, he has had 3 angioplasty(?) procedures, i.e "balloons" to remover blockages. Has been on multiple meds including Toprol (?) & daily doses of nitro. He moved to the south to live near my older sister & me appx. 3 years ago.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
re trying to get them to grow, I strongly suggest LCD nail polish sold at Sally Beauty Supply. Only $7 a bottle (can be used as clear base or top coat) It's AMAZING if you apply it regularly, and when there's enough nail to do it, under your nails as well. Good Luck!
I used some gloves (Nitrile Exam Gloves) and i had a bad irritation because of that. I stoped used the gloves anymore and I went to the doctor. He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%.
5%w/v, Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%w/v, Chlorhexidine HCl 0.5%w/v. The Muco-Aid is a bottle of liquid lotion, which weigh around 8g. I actually used few times in the window period of 12 weeks. Probably few days before testing too, even a day before testing. I cannot remember the exactly when did I put the lotion in my mouth for ulcers.
I have read somewhere that steroid might delay antibodies production of HIV making the test result not accurate. In this case is Triamcinolone Acetonide.
