My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.
They prescribed me permethrin cream and is safe for pregnancy. Other dr prescribed me triamcinolone acetonide and hydroxyzine hcl. Are those two safe for pregnancy? I mean I look it up and some say it not safe for pregnancy.
I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites. Slow to heal and feels like I have been kicked in the crotch, sore nerve pain.
I understand from what I have read that Triamcinolone cream is not to be used on genital herpes. However if the experience I have had without the cream is terrible. If this cream can cure my symptoms before an outbreak, why should it not be used? Thank you for your reply.
I have really gross hives all over my body, but I'm trying to figure out why. I go to this weird Korean skin care place for my bacne. A few months ago, they injected triamcinolone+lidocaine into a few specific acne spots. I started itching like crazy, breathing was difficult, and they let me go home after injecting me with an antihistamine (I imagine). Rash went away after my 3 hour nap.
My past doctor in another state had me on Kenalog shot 80 mg, every 3.5 months. I have since moved to another state bringing along my past medical records for my new doctor. He said his program does not provide him with Kenalog and so he gave me a shot of Decadron 4 mg every three months. It has been a week since my shot and my allergies are starting to return. What is the difference between the two, and which one is better?
Hi. I m 30 year/man, currently use a cream triamcinolone acetonide cream recommended by my dermatologist for my dry skin of my penis and psoriasis. I've been using it long but not all day, but I really have not seen improvement in my skin from the penis. Also recently discovered that the cream has steroids, which I do not want to use it more. There any cream that you recommend and save for the penis??

So approximately a month ago I randomly had a sensation when I went to urinate and it would follow with a couple blood droplets. I had unprotected sex 3 weeks prior to that. I got checked for HIV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. All tests came back negative. Doc gave me antibiotics for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis. The antibiotics didn't make a difference but it got better with time.
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
The dermatologist prescribed me Ketoconazole, Triamcinolone and Terbinafine. Been using for a week and it is no better in fact it burns and itches more at night. Alone with this I was using some antifungal soap. Any ideas on what this might be? Is it Red Scrotum Syndrome caused from the hydrocortisone? This has been going on for 6 weeks now and it's no better.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
It must really burn. Call the pharmacist in your area and find out what to do. Children do not get yeast infections.
I was quick to talk to my doctor and she prescribed me an anti itch cream that helped almost immediately. The rash was gone in about a week. The cream I used was called Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1%. Maybe your doctor can prescribe it for you.
Exactly 2 days after I noticed a pain in the lymph nodes in my groin. Two days after that I had a burning sensation in the tip of my penis no pain when voiding or ejaculating. The lymph nodes began to burn as well. The skin just under my penis on each side was inflamed but there were no lesions or discharge from my penis. I also noticed frequent urination. I took ciproflaxon for 3 days 500 mg every 12 hours and then finished another antibiotic I had for 3 more days twice a day.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
I get bad break outs my doctor said some pregnant people break out bad so he gave me Triamcinolone to put on everyday and it's not as bad as it use to be just ask your doctor
I have read somewhere that steroid might delay antibodies production of HIV making the test result not accurate. In this case is Triamcinolone Acetonide. However, my guess is that Muco-Aid probably has low or very low Triamcinolone Acetonide with 0.1%w/v that should not have any affect on body's immune system nor hiding the HIV antibodies. But, I'm not a chemist or doctor. So, I need your advice.

I had a bump show up yesterday in my pubic region. It was at a head and you could see the hair underneath. I drained it and removed two hairs out of the pore. I put triamcinolone on it over night and swelling went down. Throughout the day however the bump became more apparent and red in color. There is no head to it just a pea sized bright red lump. Not sure if this is just irritation from the removal or if it could be infected.

Hypopigmentation and muscle atrophy and thinning of skin are frequent side effects of steroids and you have injected a high potency steroid triamcinolone in your skin. This might have caused these side effects.
Secondly vitiligo and if there is any loss of sensation in the area then leprosy also need to be ruled out. It will be best to get the diagnosis confirmed by a skin biopsy.
I used some gloves (Nitrile Exam Gloves) and i had a bad irritation because of that. I stoped used the gloves anymore and I went to the doctor. He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%.
