The dermatologist prescribed me Ketoconazole, Triamcinolone and Terbinafine. Been using for a week and it is no better in fact it burns and itches more at night. Alone with this I was using some antifungal soap. Any ideas on what this might be? Is it Red Scrotum Syndrome caused from the hydrocortisone? This has been going on for 6 weeks now and it's no better.
I recently noticed I had a small razor-burn like bump on my bikini area, and some red bumps on the rear, though they weren't like my usual razor-burns. Everything was on outer areas only. I found out my boyfriend cheated on me with multiple people, got tested for STDs, and came back negative for everything. It's been about a month and the bumps did not spread, hurt, blister, etc. They look like pimples but with nothing inside them- just raised skin.
I have a thing about pulling the hairs out of my scrotum. Been doing it for years. My wife really appreciates it. But for the last 6 weeks, my scrotum has become inflamed. There are splits in the skin(which makes most ointments unbearable), a really, really bad itch(by far the worst Ive ever had), the skin itself has inflamed to the point Im oozing, and has gotten really thick. Ice bags help with that, a little.
My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.
1 prescribed Triamcinolone cream and told me to use it one week on and then take a one week break for several months. I did that for two months and nothing improved. Another Dermatologist thought my immune system caused the reaction and prescribed Tacrolimus ointment...told me to put it on until the color came back. I did that for 3 months and didn't notice any significant change....only occasional peeling of the skin next to the head of my penis!
I told her I am sure that it is not an allergic reaction but she insisted I try the cream. I just put triamcinolon 0.1% on my neck and it burns terribly and now my throat feels tight. Can anyone help with a possible diagnosis? I can provide pictures. Thank you!
I believe this to be true because I got minor relief to this with Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetone cream (used for fungal infections on the skin).
Clammy, itchy, burning groin and balls like nano worms live on the surface is due to contact, in my case, with vaginal fluids! My girlfriend and I were active for years with no issues. We broke up and we hooked up, with a condom, about two years later and I almost immediately had the symptoms that do not go away!

I'm a straight male. I have taken a HIV I & II Antigen and Antibody Screening Test 12 weeks after my exposure, which should be considered low risk as I read some of the previous threads here. Unprotected Oral Sex and Protected Vaginal Sex, both insertive to a commercial sex worker. Result is non-reactive.
During the window period, I have stopped smoking. I'm quite prone to mouth ulcers and quitting smoking made the mouth ulcers happened more frequent.
I have had a rash on and around my vaginal area. It burns and itches and I have had it for two weeks. I have tried over the counter creams and corn starch. The area is raw in some places. I have not had intercourse in over a year. The only thing that I found at home to work was and old perscription for triamcinolone acetonide cream.
Thanks for responding. I am aware of its purpose, however l have used it for 3 years and it stops the bumps from appearing. As soon as l get tingling, l start to use it and l do not get an outbreak. I am just healing on a lesion that l did not use it on. I have had this lesion for 8weeks and on valtrex the past 2.
I go to this weird Korean skin care place for my bacne. A few months ago, they injected triamcinolone+lidocaine into a few specific acne spots. I started itching like crazy, breathing was difficult, and they let me go home after injecting me with an antihistamine (I imagine). Rash went away after my 3 hour nap.
I have since moved to another state bringing along my past medical records for my new doctor. He said his program does not provide him with Kenalog and so he gave me a shot of Decadron 4 mg every three months. It has been a week since my shot and my allergies are starting to return. What is the difference between the two, and which one is better? Should I seek another doctor or can I go to a clinic and get my shots there since I have my past medical records with me?
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
I have used Hydrocortisone cream (it burns), Triamcinolone acetonide, and Benadryl. None have been effective. This has been going on for nearly two months.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Seen 3 derms, who all perscribed Triamcinolone for 3 weeks, which did nothing. One of them did a biopsy on a very similae bump on my left thigh which was dianosed as ALHE with no cure (except surgical removal)
Itches occasionally, no pain. Any tips, I'd be forever grateful.

Tests came back and it was not herpes, but I did have NGU, but tests were both negative for Chlamydia and Ghoneria. I then went to my doctor for help and he advised at first it was yeast. So he prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide. At first it burned like hell so doctor suggested Lotrimin. So I tried lotrimin for a month, and it got worse. I tried Monistat, it didn't help but only temporary relief.
Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
