Avatar f tn I was quick to talk to my doctor and she prescribed me an anti itch cream that helped almost immediately. The rash was gone in about a week. The cream I used was called Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1%. Maybe your doctor can prescribe it for you.
Avatar n tn I tried using moisturizers to control this but they only helped a little. I went to my primary-care physician and she prescribed me steroid (triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient.
Avatar n tn Dear Sir/Madam, My personal physician prescribed triamcinolone 0.1% cream to treat a fungal/yeast infection of my groin and armpit areas that I have been suffering from for the last two years. I have been using the cream for a few weeks now and I have noticed slight discoloration of the skin in the areas I have applied the cream. I have stopped using the cream as a result. Will the skin discoloration clear up? If so how long will it take?
Avatar m tn i then decided to go to see a doctor few months ago. He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Avatar n tn I was told to use Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment 454gm. This was end of January. After using this ointment for a few weeks it seemed to clear up. That didn't last long. After that it came right back real bad. Is this normal? How can I get this to go away?
Avatar m tn I obviously went to see a doctor but i do not have insurance. They gave me Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% welllll this just helps a little.. I need a cure. What is this? They did swabs and tests, everything came back negative.. which obviously means it is nothing super common. The girl I had sex with did have a new borne baby.. I remember confronting her and she had no idea.. She said she was clean.. I've since then lost contact with her.
Avatar n tn Thanks Kindd and how long would you recommend me to take ibuprofen? The doctor gave me this cream called triamcinolone acetonide 0.1.....is this good for this skin problem?
Avatar m tn Want to update you with my status went to the Derm today right of the back he said it was pityriasis rosea. he did check the palms of my hands for SS. 1833444 tn?1325557062 I have heard some people on this forum say that ice packs, standing in front of the open freezer door, standing outside for a minute or two, keeping your skin lotioned up, and drinking lots of water helps. Have your tried the anti itch ointment Triamcinolone? It is a prescription that seems to help my husband's itching. He has also used Eucerin cream and Eucerin body wash, which seems to help.
Avatar f tn Can someone anyone PLEASE HELP ME figure out this poking itch. This is my third post about this with no response. Going on week 3 now I have had this weird poking itch. It started on my arm right on the opposite side of my elbow on my left arm. It's in one tiny spot. It feels like someone is taking a fox tail and just poking me over and over again in the same spot. After the second week it poking moved to my elbow. There is no marks.
Avatar m tn as long as you dont scratch it and keep it clean itll go away faster and itll be a less of a chance to not spread it.. ive been using this ointment called Triamcinolone acetonide ointment USP, 0.1% .. it seems to be helping me.. my bumps have been getting smaller.. and they arent itchy at all.. i googled and didnt see anything about not being able to use it.. but its really starting to make it go away... and i use cortizone cream when its really itchy.. you can also use the cream called aldara.
Avatar f tn The lesion returned again in the same spot I went to the OBGNY they took a sample of the virus and i was prescribed fluconazole 150 mg and nystatin-triamcinolone 100,000 unit/g-0.1 % topical cream again i was told it may be herpes. Hyphae/Candida was detected. And now again i have a lesion on my outer vagina lip in the same spot reddish and looks irritated like it was scratched and i'm worried. What could the lesion be? do i really have herpes? is it a reaction?
Avatar n tn I told her I am sure that it is not an allergic reaction but she insisted I try the cream. I just put triamcinolon 0.1% on my neck and it burns terribly and now my throat feels tight. Can anyone help with a possible diagnosis? I can provide pictures. Thank you!
Avatar m tn t be able to get to the dermatologists for a couple months, and last night I just found Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1% which I believe my doctor gave to me awhile ago when I complained about dry skin before it was this bad. So my question is would this give me any relief if I used this on my face and is it still usable as it says it expired in the beginning of 2010 but its been unopened and in a cool cabinet?
Avatar m tn Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
1292023 tn?1272203010 I went to a dermatologist and he said I had ezema and prescribed me Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1%. Is that what I need to put on it? Please give me your advise on this. I have had this over 2 months and I am so tired of trying to get it well. I also had a perm and the next day my fingers started doing this. I burned my hair bad. Could this be associated with this? Thank you so far. My dermatologist didn't really know what this was when I went to him.
Avatar f tn Well I went back to the doctors tonight and they chalked it up to a flare up of eczema due to stress and gave me Triamcinolone Acetonide cream USP, 0.1%. I have also used a spay I got for my dogs hot spots and it has worked pretty good. I was able to sleep after using it. Natural Antipruitic/Fosters Healing skin care spray. As for my lower back pain they chalked that up to just being over worked from my job. They did find a small trace amount of blood in my urine.
Avatar f tn t entirely have to money to go to a dermatologist or ophthalmologist first so we went to a clinic. The clinic prescribed me Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% and instructed me to apply a small amount 3 times a day (morning, around 5pm-ish and then before bed), wiping the area clean in between applications, for at minimum a week and at maximum two weeks. Then, if that didn't help, I was supposed to come back. I only used the cream for a week and didn't revisit the topic at all.
Avatar n tn After 2 years of suffering from rectal itching, I was diagnosed by a surgeon with puritus ani. I tried every suggestion for diet modification; no alchohol, caffiene, citric acid, spicy food, fried food, tomato based food, dairy, even limited red meat. I treat the area gently, don't over clean, shower after bowel movements, drink lots of water, added fiber with metamucil, and protect the area with desitin baby rash ointment, (zinc oxide cream).
