Triamcinolone brand name

Common Questions and Answers about Triamcinolone brand name

nasacort

Avatar f tn The infection surfaced about 2 months ago, around the same time I switched from a generic birth control (trisprintec-lo) to a brand name (orthotricyclin-lo) however I was switching BACK to the brand name which I had used without complications for 5 years before the generic became available. Is it related to oral health? I don't always brush and floss twice a day but again, as is the case with every possible cause I can think of, this is NOT NEW.
Avatar n tn Hi, i have a dry red area on the head of my penis. I'm not circumcised. It has been like this for maybe 4mths and was probably caused by not using a condom. In the past i treated it with Canestan cream and it stopped it drying out but was occasionally itchy. It never quit so i saw a doctor who put me on some tablets (sorry don't have name) and i had to apply triamcinolone acetonide lotion twice a day after showering.
Avatar f tn Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!
Avatar n tn I had a total thyroidectomy 2 mo ago and have not felt right since 4 days of being placed on brand name these signs have started to decrease. If these are related do you know when I will feel completely better?
Avatar m tn It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.
Avatar n tn m going to save myself $200 and try to trust the generic, or buy the brand name again. Its just nice, a rare luxury for me to have a brand name medication of any kind and its the most important one for me. I trust the original maker very much. And here's my argument on the whole generic thing. Sure the FDA Tested a batch of each clonazepam generic maker's pills, but it has to be understood that not every single pill or batch can be tested.
Avatar f tn I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.
Avatar m tn Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
Avatar f tn So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
Avatar m tn ) But how serious is an allergic reaction to triamcinolone? Or is it the combination of lidocaine and triamcinolone that caused the mess?
Avatar m tn Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
Avatar f tn Off brand and name brand are the same... they have to be. Tums is safe during pregnancy.
Avatar m tn Klonpin is the brand name, manufactured by Roche Laboratories. Clonazepam is the generic form.
Avatar f tn can anyone explain the difference between the brand name Lexapro and the generic brand? i was reading your posts. my boyfriend was on the brand name lexapro and switched to the chemical brand in June. since then he has been spriraling downhill, out of control is there that much of a difference in brand name and off brand?
Avatar m tn Hello everybody.I am a male.Last summer I had sex with a woman I did not know before. We used a condom brand I hadn't heard of before but it's the only one she had. After sex I noticed change of pigmentation of my urethral meatus, which turned to red and persisted up until now (10 months). There is no itching or burning, but I noticed that when I urinate the stream goes into 2 directions, the dorsal part of my urethra has "opened" more than usual since the sexual contact.
574118 tn?1305135284 I completely agree with you. The generics are not the same as name brand and the fillers or other ingredients in them can change the way they work. I've been advised for years only to get name brands and do so as the cost between the two is negligible for me, a $3 per script difference. Remember, pharmacies make much more profit on the generics than the name brands. My Dr.'s always write the brand name and DAW in the bottom box to be sure I get the brand name.
168348 tn?1379357075 Generics are just a name change only, from high cost brands name medicines to low cost brand name medicines. Just like all other products sold here in the US: Toilet paper, clothing, clothes soaps, and foods, etc., etc., etc. I buy a lot of generic products, which are made by brand name companies, with the same ingredients. Its the advertising of the "Brand Name" products that is where the high cost comes from.
Avatar f tn im sorry if that sounded mean!!
Avatar f tn I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
Avatar f tn There seems to be a general consensus that the generic bupropion and the Name Brand Wellbutrin are quite different. Why doesn't everyone that comments on taking on or the other mention if they are taking the generic or name brand? I think if they did we would get a much better idea of the differences.
Avatar f tn If you took a cheap, store brand aspirin tablet and an expensive, brand name one, and put both in 2 separate glasses of water. The brand name will probably dissolve within seconds, which is what you want, since aspirin is very acidic. But many generics will just sit there....barely dissolving at all. The side of that water glass could be your stomach, and the cheap aspirin will be eating a hole in the lining, or at the very least, causing irritation. Another example: Thyroid meds.
