624074 tn?1263873807 Chiari is complicated enough to understand, but I wanted to know if anyone knew where I could find information explaning what Chiari Malformation, in particular CM 1 in Spanish is. We are visiting my in-laws this week-end and instead of losing everything in translation, I was hoping to find a pamphlet online or something that was already in Spanish. Anyone have any ideas on where I may be able to find something? Thanks so much!

Avatar n tn When I took topamax I had the same side effect, it gets worse in the winter with the cold weather. What I found out is that topamax depletes the potassium in your body, If you like bananas eat one a day and if you are like me you can get an otc potassium you just need 1-2 a day and I would take them depending on how my hands and feet felt. It is better to just eat a banana unstead of taking supplements but otc potassium is inexpensive.
Avatar m tn I did experience a little joint pain in the elbows and wrists when I jumped to a higher dose. The pins and needle sensations came stronger and more often as well. In my feet it felt like bee stings, ouch. I did some digging online and found in the clinical trails potassium helped with the tingling so I tried that. I started out by just trying to add potassium rich foods to my diet and saw a difference on those days.
Avatar f tn Might want to consider checking into kidney stones...Topamax is known to cause a person to form them. I take Topamax for seizures and monitor possible side effects. Hope you get relief and find out soon. Please let us know what you are diagnosed.
Avatar f tn I was on Topamaz 200mg a day for headaches related to chiari but I did not have weakness, I had tingaling in my hands and feet but no weakness from the topamax and I took it for 3 years. I would call your doctor cause it may not be coming from the med. But since you had surgery maybe your body maybe reacting to it? I sure wouldnt let that go. As for the vertigo the topamax seemed to help it some but it didnt help the balance. Now im on 125mg of zonigran.

Avatar m tn I just called the accredited clinic of the Spanish consulate here in Manila where the medical examination is done for getting working visa in Spain. They told me that they dont issue 'fit to travel' certificate with conditions reactive in hepa b either inactive or active state. They require waiver from the company so that you'll get the 'fit to travel' certificate from the clinic. Sad because i have to decline the opportunity working in Spain for just months.

Avatar f tn There are other "O" names with a Spanish heritage, like Olinda, Orlanda and Orquidia. Or there are others that are as cute as Olivia that don't begin with an O, such as Paloma, Serena, Valentina, Rosalinda, Esme or Esmerelda, and Jacinta. Another O name that is very pretty is Oriana, but I think it comes from Latin or Italian.
Avatar f tn Say something in Spanish and then in English. Or use flash cards. He'll catch on eventually. That's amazing you taught him 2 languages. That'll definitely come in handy when he's older.
