Avatar f tn DETROL LA Capsules contain tolterodine tartrate. The active moiety, tolterodine, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist. The recommended dose of DETROL LA Capsules are 4 mg daily. DETROL LA should be taken once daily with liquids and swallowed whole. The dose may be lowered to 2 mg daily based on individual response and tolerability. Avatar n tn hi im 16 years old and for about the last 4 months i have had the constant urge to go to the toilet. i have been to the doctors over 6 times with the problem now and still nothing has changed. at first the doc said that i could have an infection, so after taking 3 different types of tablets nothing had happened and the doc said it was not that. they sent me to a hospital and i had a ultrasound test done on my lower stomach IE kidneys bladder etc.
Avatar f tn Drugs such as oxybutynin chloride (Ditropan®) and tolterodine (Detrusitol®, Detrol LA®) are taken orally, once a day, for overactive bladder. You can consult your doctor for these options. Also, I suggest you can initiate antibiotics like ofloxacin for better management of the infection.
Avatar m tn This was not it. Almost a week ago, my doctor prescribed Detrol LA 2mg (Tolterodine L-tartrate 2mg) capsules, to be taken once a day. I first started taking them a week and a half ago, and they don't seem to have had an effect. It's for a condition called "overactive bladder", however, the symptoms of this condition don't really match mine. I also drink lots of water every day, and I don't have diabetes.

Avatar m tn I saw another uro after that and he prescribed moxifloxacin hydrochloride based on that urine culture test along with tolterodine tartrate for 7 days. I have been taking em for 3 days now and do not see any relief . I am really worried as my symptoms have only gotten worse after cystoscopy . Should i be worried that doctor did not perform cystoscopy properly and damaged my uretha or bladder? Or have i damaged my prostate with over masturbation.
