Yes, there are. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is one and Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate) another. Each is a bronchodilator and capable of giving good relief of shortness of breath.

If from the lungs, you could be experiencing Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) withdrawal symptoms, depending on what type of lung problem was being treated with the Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder). Spiriva contains tiotropium bromide which is an anticholinergic bronchodilator. So, yes, both have action against acetylcholine recptors and both are efefctive bronchodilators. You can take any one of them. Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting beta-adrenoceptor agonist. So, it gives bronchodialation for a much longer time. It is a more recent drug so long term efficacy data are not available. However, available data does show a marked benefit in individuals with COPD.

Since I have not been able to capture the tacky event over years of trying my EP cardiologist has suggested EP study. I guess I would like to know if anyone has experienced this and can help me out with some wisdom/encouragement. I'm worried that they won't be able to identify the problem during the EP study and I will be back to trying to record this by rushing to the ER. I am tired of having my life limited by this problem but also have anxiety about the EP study.

It has had (VX 950) a really good track record so far but also is not perfect as their are reports of severe rashes and some evidence of viral mutations in the earlier trials. Being it is in phase 3 with a large group to study the picture will get a little clearer on that drug. I hope that helps and good luck in your decision just think long and hard about it first.

Does anyone know anything about the IDEAL study? I was reading today that the LDN study will be for three months and be a double blind study with 80 MS patients from the Univ of California @ San Francisco MS center. I had a sleep study last night in the middle of the nite they put a cpap on does this mean I might have sleep apnea? Or is this just how they do it? I cant see them putting one on that was blasting oxygen with a mask unless I was needing oxygen.

I just did a sleep study, and the doctor told me I awoke up 5-30 times an hour. 5x hour from snoring, and 5.3 times an hour from arousal. I dont get any REM sleep, I know i have PTSD, and this makes the arousal state happen from nightmares. What should be the next step?

The ep study was done for pvc's. I was under the impression they were going to do an ablation but decided not to for some reason. I'll get the results at my follow up in March.
